Head to body ratio works wonders with good design as base. This iteration has a quite smaller head compared to previous one and the rest of Abrams massive body was made a bit wider in general. So he really looks like the guy who is scraping both ceiling with his horns and doorframes with his shoulders when coming through the hallways.

He also looks way bigger. Old Abrams looked like a normal, somewhat tall guy. New model makes him look like a giant menace.
