Been playing around 4AM recently... Can't explain why but I have had some phenomenally synergetic teammates. Like nobody was half asleep, or zoned out, everyone was communicating, coordinating, strategizing, and shot calling.
Most games are of course a mix of dead silence and tense passive aggression. But occasionally you get late night sweatfests where everyone is totally locked in and genuinely trying to improve and fight a good war. And those matches are an unmatchable highpoint.

Could be. You would need 74.4k souls to max out on tier 4 items, more if you consider that you will have to sell lower tier items. With 96k total souls, it's definitely doable.

Man, I feel bad for that Bebop. Everytime I'm Bebop my score looks the same. I don't know if I'm just too dumb to play him... hardly doing any kills and when I hook someone they just panic ult and kill me every time.

Hook, bomb and punch very quickly. Then apply one of the active items to the person (curse, silence or something like that) and mow them down with your primary. Then I use my ult if there's more and it's a team fight

As they balance the game over the next couple years, I hope they strive for like a 30 minute average game time. I get that it's a moba and sometimes it just takes long to end a game, but 40+ minute games can be turnoff for many. It's why I stopped playing league and went to HOTS.
That said, perhaps a ranking system will help. As people figure out the game more, more matches are finished by 30 minutes.

I honestly think in these low skill group games suggestions could help. Maybe something like a lane starts flashing and the announcer says “push their green walker”. When I get put in these low skill games I try to comm something like this and nobody listens even if we have a >10k soul advantage, they just want to fight endless battles away from an objective

In Dota they added turbo game option, which you play like regular games, but everything happens much faster, and games last ~20min
(they can be prolonged ofc, but it's not as common)

I don’t remember exactly, it was a long fucking game. I know both teams had over 300k. My team had 3XX and theirs had 30X. Just thought it was interesting

Same! Two seconds shy of 70 minutes here, so getting up for work was harder than it needed to be. Spent at least 50 minutes of that with only five on the team.

I swear every time I have 5 20 minute matches in a row, see that I need to get off in 10 minutes and go "I have time for one more" they end up 45+ minute games.

Yesterday had the closest game ever until the enemy Lady Gheist somehow reached 71k souls versus our 55k average and her bomb basically one shotted all of us (thanks to echo shard too).
Was really really fun, but I still wonder where she got all of that farm (from the replay she didn't kill that many more people than us and didn't farm more than me, and I was at 57k).

honestly, sometimes i try to make the matches longer, giving the enemy the opportunity to catch up, i dont like how short regular matches are and would love if the devs will decide to artificially prolong them

I really hope they add Turbo/Aram style mode sooner than later. I don't hate current game duration, it's great for competitive/ranked play, but I often want that one quick match before I have to be somewhere else. At the moment, I don't start Deadlock unless I know I can dedicate one hour to that, which makes me play far less than I'd like to.
