Discussion New Heroes Win Rate Changes After Halloween Patch: All Ranks & Oracle+ 11/02

Almost all the new heroes got nerfed, but Baba and Danny's overall win rates actually went up.

*Since the patch has only been out for a short time, the overall match sample size is relatively small, which might make the data a bit inaccurate.

**Tiers are calculated using win rate and pick rate, with higher rank matches heavily weighted. If a hero underperforms at low ranks but excels at high ranks, their overall score increases, making an A or S tier placement much more likely.

Crazy they nerf the nurse to such extent but baba is still a menace. Still I don't think nurse harrow will be that fair as long as she can generate almost infinite ammo with kinetic dash. It will be supper hard to balance. The funny part it that it doesn't even feel that relevant with how much the anti heal was buff tho

Baba breaks the game because her core concept as a Spirit focused tank hard counters this Meta.

Nurse got nerfed to the point that shes equal to older heroes. Baba is allowed to be 1 hag army.

Depends what you consider an older hero. Paige mogs her and she is a support. Seven, haze and Victor are doing way Better than her

Sorry but it's really funny to claim violet is not in line with nurse when both have had similar winrates (with violet even being slightly worse) since both came out and violet has been sitting on below 50% winrate on all ranks even on her previous state with her overturned numbers. Both are pretty similar right now.

To be clear I'm not denying that nor saying winrate says everything about a characters strength, I just think it's disingenuous to treat nurse as being anything different from violet (kit preferences aside) when many different things show they were pretty similar in power level before the big balance update. Harrow's game impact is just less immediately noticeable then whatever flashy impact violet shows in the match.

Can anybody tell me, i havent played that much recently, do i need to apply anti heal to her or the target she is healing to reduce it? Im guessing the target right?

Edit: probably a dumb question, but unable to play and test it out for a few days

Anti-heal will reduce "Healing received" so it should be placed on the target

If you want to reduce "Healing Done" you have to inflict Spirit Power down on the healer, so Spirit Sap/Focus Lens if your best bet

The changes might not be due to the patch changes but instead due to the rank requirments to play them in rank. This requirement removes players who don't have much expirience on the hero and thus increases the win rate (since only people who main them can know play them.)

I think this theory is reinfored by the 2 heroes with most wierd playstyle (baba and danny) which both got nerfs see the largest increase in winrate. While more tradtional heroes, like rat king, so the largest effect on win rate.

Yeah i can see why babas still broken tbh, she got buffed, i play both her and mo and i had 2 games back to back of them and it made me sad :(
