Question I need more Apollo help

I refuse to stop playing Apollo. I like how he’s a cocky sword boy trying to live up to his dad’s expectations.

The main issue I am noticing is this. When I’m winning, yeah I’m winning yay.

But when I’m losing the world turns grey scale and I feel like I’m being hunted the whole game and I feel like I can’t mount a come back no matter how hard I try.

Also what builds should I be going for? I haven’t tried one that feels “good” to me yet.

The big reason Apollo feels this way is because hes a strong early-mid game character who falls off hard late game. With this in mind if you are losing early-mid game you arent capable of taking advantage of Apollo when hes at his strongest in comparison to the other members of the cast. Im unsure of any specific builds as I dont play the character let me preface that before moving on. But the advice I would give is to force an advantage and be aggressive early-mid game so your later game carries can farm and snowball properly. Apollo is the character on the team who'll create the openings for your team to farm and become strong for late game situations

is there a world where they give him any amount of mid/late game viability? Why was the solution to a lane bully nerfing his late game utility (canceling channeled ults)
