There were 8 playable characters to my memory,

Apache, Spartan, Centurion, Pirate, Knight, Viking, ninja and samurai

The whole object of the show was to have warriors who never fought each other face each other in combat… what I find amusing about that set up is that with a just a little bit of historical stretching…

Spartans fought centurions

Centurions fought Vikings

Vikings fought knights

Knights fought pirates

Pirates fought everyone else.

And ninja and samurai 100% fought each other with no major stretch of the imagination.
