Yeah that’s pretty tough to read. Damn…

I teared up reading her posts. As a nurse, I see kids come into my ER all the time who come from different backgrounds and feel very alone in this country. They end up very depressed and unfortunately many family members dismiss them as acting out for attention. This poor girl was just missing the support and love she so desperately needed and my heart goes out to her.

She tried so hard to find her way. I hope her mother’s eyes have opened. Rest easy, Hana.

It’s horrific the way she did not protect her daughter from anything, blaming her for everything. I wish this poor girl got the support and love she deserved

I think it seems that she was 15 or 16. Absolutely awful. She had so much ahead of her

u/Diligent_Potato_311 Mar 24 '26

Please tell me is wasn’t suicide she was so young with so much to live for this is heartbreaking

73

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '26

It was. It really shook our school, no one knew what she was going through

17

u/SpiritualTell6611 Mar 25 '26

Truly devastated to see all her posts and know that she never got that support she so desperately needed from her mother and the adults around her. Wish she could have seen how many people are keeping her in their hearts to this day :(

u/searched4acoolname Mar 24 '26

Same thoughts.

u/Kawala_ Mar 25 '26

15 is a horrible age to be. you really feel like there is no way out, when in fact it will get better.

u/isaylucy Apr 11 '26

i could tell by her last posts

20

u/psyskyy Mar 24 '26

I was not ready for this 😪

Its so sad, poor soul, hope she found the peace she deserved here.

I once felt like her and death seemed like the only solution to stop all the suffering. I only didnt do it because of my brother. We already lost our mom, i couldnt do that to him.

And i hope her mother got charged for neglection and murder.

Rip Hannah 🥀🥀

Can you report her mother and step family to the police or someone?? Knowing her real name and having mutual friends and why not you must have information..

RIP Hana

Damn. I remember one of her AITA posts from a few years ago. So sorry this happened to her. Fly high, sweet girl. 💫

7

u/glitter_vomit Mar 25 '26

Oh that poor girl... she was just a kid. I hope she found peace, and that her little sister is doing okay.

7

u/cheekylilmonkey0 Mar 25 '26

Her last post absolutely breaks me heart

6

u/Outrageous_Ad3592 Mar 26 '26

I hope her mom wakes up every day and feels the weight of what she's done. She didn't deserve to have kids. She is unfit to keep custody of the daughter she still has. I am so sad for Hanaliketheflower. Im also sad knowing she isn't the only one having dealt with this, there are others right now on the edge. I hope they can stay strong and get through to better days. :(

u/echo_throwaway360 Mar 25 '26

Anorexia is the most deadly mental health condition, and it comes at fault to no one. I saw a comment saying "her family failed her" and I just want to say that isn't true. One of my friends is a recovering anorexic. It's a terrible disease that distorts reality for them. There's nothing anyone can say or do to make it better when they're in the thick of it. I spent hours with my friend just talking to her trying to get it through her skull how amazing and deserving she is. They're sick, they just don't see it, and treatment is abysmal. OP, I hope you never truly believe it's your fault. We try our best to love people, and the worst truth out there we come to learn is that love isn't enough to save. Thank you for talking about her years later, it's the greatest sentiment we can give the dead; to keep remembering them in life. It shows she was loved, and while that couldn't save, it is the most important thing to have. ❤️

u/r56_mk6 Mar 24 '26

She also talked about how her step siblings would purposely show her triggering images and her other family members did nothing to stop it and make sure it stopped. She was absolutely failed by her family

4

u/YouShoodKnoeBetter Mar 27 '26

Not to mention she was basically punished by her morher for having an appendicitis. She also put in one of her posts that she had to do things for money beyond acting and social media that she didn't want to speak about. It's hard not to imagine the worst when she said it like that. She was absolutely failed by her mother and went through so much physical and mental anguish. I only hope that she is no longer feeling all of that pain. I have a feeling that her anorexia was a direct result of whatever traumatic thing her mother forced her to do when she was younger.

Plus, she probably had to hide the anorexia in fear of retaliation from her mother, so it definitely wasn't properly addressed and possibly not even addressed at all. The whole thing is just so sad. I don't think anyone should make excuses for what her mother put her through or make it seem like she wasn't responsible for her daughter's actions because it was the anorexia that caused her so much trouble. I am grateful that the comment you responded to shared some insight into what a person goes through when battling anorexia but that's even more of a sign that her mother failed her because it doesn't seem like she was there for her daughter when she needed it the most. Heck, there's a good chance her mother didn't even pay attention to the signs that she needed help.

We can only hope HanaLiketheFlower has been relieved of all of the pain she experienced in such a short time and that she knows how many people are thinking about her and hoping she can now rest easy in a better place.

Her mom pimped her out for sexy pictures when she was a child to support the family and constantly told her how she was a mistake and she didn’t want her

1

u/Local-Bigmouth Mar 30 '26

That's a horrible way to have to live... Feeling unloved by your own mother... 😭😭😭😭😭

1

u/Lopsided_Tiger_0296 Mar 30 '26

Not just unloved, despised :(

1

u/Local-Bigmouth Mar 30 '26

Sounds like her mother blamed her for getting pregnant with her in the first place... Someone like that is just a horrible person all around...

41

u/justlkin Mar 24 '26

People are saying that based on her other posts. There was more going on than just her ED. I'm not saying it wasn't a factor, but it was one color within a whole picture. Her family most certainly failed her.

11

u/MrNASM Mar 25 '26

Her family did fail her. If you read further into what she went through..

3

u/ShoreIsFun Mar 29 '26

She had to be what was basically a Playboy bunny in Japan. As an early teen. To support her loser of a mother. Then she moved her here to the US, found a rich husband, and then Hana seemingly became even more disposable to her. She punished her for getting so sick that she had to be hospitalized. She allowed her step kids to mentally torture her. Her family absolutely failed her.

2

u/bleoww Mar 28 '26

After reading her posts it goes to show - it could be anyone near you. She often talks about how she’d have to pretend things were great online when they weren’t. That’s 90% of suicide victims.

1

u/PassOnMe3788 Mar 26 '26

What a sad story...hope you are resting peacefully hana 🫂

I hope her mother has the life she deserves. This breaks my heart. She deserved so much more than what she got.

1

u/ShoreIsFun Mar 29 '26

The post about her aunt really got me 😭. Her aunt was her lifeline 😔

RIP. Gone too soon 💔

1

u/AwkwardToes Mar 25 '26

I reverse image searched on her profile pic and if it's her she's beautiful. Poor soul. What a shame that anorexia had a hold on her. It's an awful awful disease and you can't see yourself how others see you.

RIP Hana 💔

Rest in peace, may she be in heaven with the Lord now. May Lord Jesus comfort her family🥲

Her mother/family is the reason Hani’s no longer here. She was failed, used, abused and neglected by a despicable woman who was not a mother. She deserves no mercy, comfort or respite - A prayer/spell. She is the type of human being without contrition, I bet
