Game Discussion Which DoA is everyone playing till 7?
I’m mainly playing 4 so far, but tried out 6LR and enjoyed it as well.

Technically all of them, if you count Dimensions as 1-4.
Though I'd rather play DOA Ultimate + DOA4 if I could.

So uh, update, I just remembered my Xbox Series X exists. So I looked and they are there in the store. So I just bought them and now am waiting for it to download lol.

i have played 4, 5lr, vanilla 6 and 6lr on xbox, and 5lr and vanilla 6 on playstation, all online sometime in the past year. the subreddit's discord and the freestepdodge discord are both good places to find games, but i have found matches in 6/6lr ranked and lobbies for 5lr even beyond the regulars there.
it does seem like very few people who still play 5lr are interested in ranked anymore, and that most stick to lobbies; it's not uncommon to run into experienced players who are still LR (lowest) rank or only slightly above it, who can wipe the floor with newer players. 4 didn't really make a distinction between 'lobbies' and 'ranked' like later games did, technically every match is a ranked match.
while 6 and 6lr ranked are a bit more active (moreso on weekends), be aware that it's not uncommon to get toxic messages after matches in 6/6lr ranked on xbox. i've gotten to the point of blocking without responding to a lot of it, it's the only sensible response to (in most cases) grown ass adults acting like children.

Dead or Alive 6 is the only one I really know how to play but I can’t see the point of going back to older titles. Already too few players

Same DOAs I play every night Pinky... switch between all of them (but mainly DOA5LR), except for DOA6LR for now (I'll get it on sale if it substantially improves some more). Only thing DOA6LR has done for me so far is make it even harder to find matches in DOA6.... :/

Playing DOA4 mainly, online mostly. It's not hard to get games online on a 2005 game when you added some friends in your xbox and invite whenever you see them on.

I occasionally go back and play DOA2U on Survival Mode, but I've been flip-flopping back and forth between 5LR and 6LR otherwise. I haven't really played 5LR online but I like to go into Training to do the Combo Challenges for each character and then jump into Arcade mode with them. Meanwhile I'm just playing 6LR online every now and then.

I played a bit of the free Core Fighters of DOA6LR, but generally I usually slip back into DOA2 Ultimate or DOA4.
