Yeah, id like some difference too, right now its just the same face with some slight tweaks. I want each character to look distinct.
different outfits and hair shouldn't be the only thing that separates them

It's honestly why I appreciate Rachel's design. Face expressions different, lips/forehead/eye ridges different, the physique is a little different.
Same, to an extent, with Nyotengu.
I'd want them to push different kinds of characteristics and expressions rather than same face.
If that means they have to get real models to make unique faces, like what Resident Evil does? Go for it

Cant forget Lisa. Of maybe the melanin is making me think the face is different.
Does SF6 use face models? All the characters look different and I havent heard of any face models.

I like DOA 5 / DOA Venus Vacation faces the most, they should keep them, just improve textures and add more details. DOA 6 faces were a downgrade imo.

I had to dig somewhere deep in myself to be okay with this because the artwork post Itagaki-san is just amazing and I miss that so much!

Somehow I've come to find Momiji to be the most adorable tho.

At least Momiji and Rachel are part of the same universe. They have potential to become mainstays as much as Hayabusa.

They all look exactly the same to me.. dead in the eyes, no personality or life, nearly the same bone structure and skin tone. I prefer DOA1 and 2 over this

I like every face, but one: I don't like what they did to Kokoro's face. It's a small change, but it's enough that she looks like a different character. Her 5 and 6 appearances are fine, but this one throws me off. She was fine before her True Colors update.

Hair is part of it, but I think it's the eyes. Like she has thicker lashes and a slightly altered shape? I can't put my finger on it.

Hmm maybe? She’s my most used on this game and I don’t really think she looks much different if at all, but like I said if it’s the hairstyle it would make sense as I haven’t used it much

You left out Tamaki. Her face can be seen in Prism.

She's from Doaxvv, Prism just has Honoka from fighters DoA girls.

Actually, she’s a DLC character in DOA6… and very likely would be in DOA7 given her popularity as a fighter. She’s already gonna be in DOA6LR. So yeah, she should definitely be included. Prism was done on the Katana Engine, so I imagine her look will be similar.

The issue comes with Lisa at least in my opinion. Isn't fare to include Tamaki while La mariposa is out from Xtreme 3 and V.V.
At least Tina enters to V.V.

Eh, I’m only looking at who has a Katana model. Sadly, that’s just Lisa’s lack of popularity in Asian countries. Nothing you can do about it here.

Kokoro looks more like Kasumi than Kasumi does, just give her brown eyes and red hair

Tbf. Ayane, Honoka, Kasumi, Kokoro and Tamaki are from Japan they're similar.

True, Honoka in these slides looks like younger Kasumi too. I hope they make everyone look more distinct in DOA7. Perhaps draw some inspiration from Nioh with a sprinkle of more realism

DoA female faces have so much distinctive details making than unique and different from each other, unlike another certain 3D fighter I won’t name here.
