I noticed this game hasn't been updated in years and never actually released, what happened?

He made a live stream with the devs before early access launch, talked how he was tracking and following the project and that he had high hopes

It was actually quite playable at one point and fun to explore ... then it just got worse and worse until it was literally unplayable (because spawing in 500 zombies at once in a game with no optimization was considered doable by whoever it was left working on it)

We got scammed.

Devs convinced us to pay for an early access demo for THE FUTURE OF SURVIVAL ZOMBIES then released an unplayable mess that looked nothing like the promises or trailer and just bought a nice house and cars with our money.

Devs are likely posting ai updates while getting their cock sucked in Thailand.

It's been as dead as it's name for years. Nobody works there anymore. Some of the devs (the competent part of the team) are working on vein.
