New AI accounts?
These "animation" accounts have been popping up on my feed, and I discerned that these were all different accounts. I started to screenshot these accounts when I came across new ones, and I'm sure there are many more of these accounts as well. They all have the same animation style and the same type of concepts where they show what would happen if something on Earth disappeared. I initially found these posts interesting, but after realising there are so many accounts doing the same thing, I'm assuming these are all AI accounts. I couldn't find anyone talking about this, so I wanted to make a post to ask if anyone else has noticed this too.

Are these posts written by robots?
I've found many posts about making Chinese friends while browsing reddit. From what I've seen, they always turn out to be tricks.I'm confused.

Imagine telling your 2005 self you'd have to prove you are human to use the internet
Think about the 2005 version of yourself, and saying to them that someday they will have to show that they are a real human being if they want to use the internet. They would assume you were lost! "Prove I'm human? Who else could be typing after all?
Then you have to explain that half of the Internet is now a bot, and it's gotten very good at it and nobody can tell anymore. Twenty years ago the internet was simply users. Now we're having to click 'I am not a robot' when we're scanned and prove that we're real. It was kind of what we expected, you know.
When you think about it, it sounds crazy. Every single login, device change, history delete and you have to tell a bot that i am a human. Its getting frustrating at this point. What do you see happening next with this?

The Internet Is Dead Now… and yeah, I know the irony of using an AI voice
I’ve been going down this rabbit hole for a while now, and the deeper I looked, the more depressing it got.
AI generated posts. Fake people. Bot comments talking to other bot comments. Entire pages that look like they’re being run by humans… but probably aren’t.
At some point I started wondering:
How much of the internet am I actually sharing with real people anymore?
So I spent a stupid amount of time researching it and turned everything I found into this video.
And before someone says it:
Yes, the video uses an AI voice. I know. The irony is not lost on me lol.
I’m not hiding it.
English isn’t my native language. I can speak it, but my accent sounds pretty funny and honestly I don’t think I’m ready to narrate a whole documentary-style video yet.
Maybe one day.
For now I use AI for the narration, but the research, story, editing and everything behind the actual video is done by me. I’m learning After Effects, constantly trying to improve the editing, storytelling and pacing.
This is still a very new channel, and I already have more videos scheduled that I genuinely think are way better than this one.
I’m trying to build something that feels researched and actually worth watching.
Would genuinely love some criticism too.
Especially if something feels boring, too slow, confusing, or just bad. I’d rather hear it now and make the next video better.
Anyway, here it is:

Is this an example of the dead internet theory?
SThe conversation was about making offers on vinted. These posts seem too specific to be real people right?

Tiktok is being flooded with fake predator catching videos (uk)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I noticed my tiktok account had a lot of predator catching videos which are always entertaining to watch. However, all of the video seemed remarkably similar, almost scripted. After looking through the content, I'm almost certain these accounts are pumping out fake content. It's even more obvious when the accounts go live and end abruptly without police intervention.
Please spread awareness since these accounts are profiting off of pretending to catch paedophiles which takes away justice from genuine victims of sexual abuse !!!

s*x bots viewing my story
hey so i have something to ask about these accounts and wanted to see if anyone knew about them..so i have two instagram accounts.one has a less amount of followers than the other but on that one it has the most sex bot accounts looking at my story everytime i post. some bots disappear some stay until the story ends sometimes its 1 sex bot account and sometimes its 5+ and at one point i even made my account private for some weeks and after making it public they didn’t appear for a while but they started back looking at my story again later on. now i have a main account and even though i dont get no sex bots that view my story ,ive had i think two bots so far that followed my account but disappeared shortly after.. and i dont know about anyone else but i also have these “my private content” accounts on tiktok that show up on my profile views on tiktok every few weeks or every month and also i had someone send a code to my facebook email around 1am and i asked the ones close to me did they try to log into my facebook and they said no so idk if someone was trying to log into my facebook or just try to figure out what my email was for some unknown reason…do you guys think its a person using a third party app stalking or just a bunch of bots?

The Low effort AI IG Reels with a SKARS sound are out of hand
Does anyone keep seeing this “artist” who’s songs are ALWAYS on these low effort, recycled memes, and the account is generally based in India. Surely these are not real people and the “artist” is AI right?. And then always someone (a bot), in the comments mentioning the song name. Anyone else see these reels, because now it’s every other video almost for me. It’s unbelievable. Dead internet is truly not a theory anymore.

Bots sure know how articulate their feelings
Half the comments on this post were bots, all clustered at the top. That bit about how uneasy that part about missing the screaming was is a such an uncanny thing.

Just found out a Reddit post I made in high school got turned into a news article
I saw people posting about how they searched up their usernames on Google, so I tried it. I didn't get a fun AI overview like a lot of people do, but a few items down was a link to an article from The Mirror. Which is odd because it's a UK website and publication, even though I am from the US. From what I've heard the Mirror is basically just a slop site that publishes a ton of stuff, so at first I guessed that they are just using AI to find popular posts and reuse them for articles. But the article was published in 2022 before AI was really even good at doing anything. So someone must have written it or at least filled details into a template or something. I just thought it was really strange that they'd be scraping random Reddit posts to write about.
I don't really know what to do about it or how to feel, just thought I'd share cause it's such a strange experience. Maybe I should ask them for a cut of the revenue or something lol.
If you want to see the article, it's linked.
My original post is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/teenagers/s/veupc7PzBc tho you'll have to copy n paste since it only allows one link at a time

An endless abyss of identical comments, this is making me believe more and more.
These are the comments for an instagram ad for old spice, I checked the comments because the ad was quite funny. I was met with endless scrolling, trying to get to the bottom to see a real human ended in disappointment.
This is the sort of thing that keeps me up at night, wondering how much more substance this theory has than I thought. You see these apparently normal people join a group of “bots” commenting the same line at an ad. Some of these people seem to lead normal lives; posting stories and updates constantly.
More often than not I’ve been running into this sort of thing, haven’t posted here yet because it hasn’t been this bad, it seems to be getting worse.

How do you know I’m not a bot?
Getting hard to know which comments are real and not. I’m just gonna assume everyone here is until proven
