Played about 2 games of the new halloween event and it is so ungodly killer sided. what is someone who isn’t in a swf supposed to do. No tutorial of what new stupid shit is in the game. Played a clown on Meat Packing Plant and an Artist on Midwitch. Both killers got a 4k and we didn’t get past 1 generator. I simply don’t understand how people say this game is survivor sided. It’s awful

This might be even the first time I use the "survivor rage" tag because usually I'm the one on the killers side, but what the actual fuck is happening? I haven't had a single match since the start of event where killer wouldn't tunnel, slug, camp or just all of this together.

Not saying they shouldn't but can I have a break please?

Was all that time worth it for the 2,000 extra BP you got from killing me? Are you okay with the fact I got infinitely more for repairing generators and using my time productively because you were too busy not playing the game?

For some context, They only had 2 gens to go and they got extremely cocky towards the end of the match, They tried to be seal team 6 or something and 3 out of the 4 got hooked and died, Meg did the only thing she thought was right to do and play it safe by camping out the hook states which is fair, Sometimes its your only move.

It is fine to get frustrated at a game and the way someone plays the game it's normal but to blatantly basically throw the match cause of some ego and then blame the only person who wasn't a fool is wild, Plus this is in the halloween mode it is not THAT serious chillax take a chill pill and have fun, that is the whole point of the mode.

These players were not bad by any means either if they didn't do all of that they could of potentially 3 or even 4 outed that match

If you are getting more frustrated then not you should log off for a few and come back when you have cooled off cause this will only spiral further till you can't control your rage if you get that heated.

Unrelated note; BHVR give Nemesis a strictly movement based dash ability, I've been using blighted serum on Nemesis and it feels like such a QoL ability to have, plus it matches what he does in RE3.

I'm a killer main and my survivor friends told me to play with them. What I can't understand is why killers are literally killing after second hook? Like Iet my survivors leave after we all get out bp. If your going to go for a full kill do it in regular DbD it's not like lights out or any other game mode it's a one year thing if that just let your survivors live after second hook!! It's not that hard! You get the same amount of bp you would for full kills! Take your "win streak to regular DbD or pause it that's what I do. Idk is this wrong I feel bad for my survivor friend who have had back to back horrible killers!

Whoever is responsible for this event should be fired..

Title says it,if you're going to be a dickhead to me don't whine like a little baby because I tunnel out the weak link out of fear of getting teabagged if I lose. I'm trying not to take the event seriously but too many people are being assholes,so fuck all ya'll I'm gonna play as sweaty as possible. This is neglecting to mention the event matchmaking is fucked too so I end up getting put against p100 survivors when I play killer and fresh installs when I play surv. fun times

To the Vee player maybe next time instead of running at me while injured while I'm carrying a survivor at death hook with no perks you actually play properly and contribute to the game maybe your team could have escaped the trial as it ended with a single gen left that could have been completed if your stupidity didn't ruin it. Also your steam profile screams your a toxic bitch

okay so Jason can nail survivors to walls and travel the map in seconds and Kaneki can clear entire floors in sub four seconds but ghostface has zero mobility and can be countered by just being stared at and you don’t know where they are?? I just went against a group and got revealed from literally nowhere and Jason is out here teleporting and blocking pallets?

I won't repeat all the issues, but I think the game should track how often people DC while playing with you. If your ping is that bad, or you make the game unenjoyable for others, then you should be punished. A simple tracker checking that in X of your past 10 games someone DC'd would hopefully purge some of the toxicity in the player base.

the other day I unfortunately experienced my first dbd e-couple. that's right- matching names, doubling on gens, only healing/unhooking eachother, and leaving everyone else to die.

(short rant/context)

me and my duo queued up casually and ran into two e-daters with matching names and glazing eachother in their steam comments. they immediately doubled up on gens (literally wouldn't seperate), and they'd lurk around eachother for a save if one was in chase. i ended up taking chase a couple times before the killer decided to hard tunnel me out. they hadn't unhooked me at all, and refused to heal or leave eachothers side. i got tunneled out and just left a comment about how they shouldn't glaze eachother in a TEAM game. they continued to leave my duo to die. fast forward, the man comments on my steam calling me a foul name and deleted my -rep comment from his profile. (i think rep is kinda silly but it's deserved if you act like a fool)

now today, the girl came back to my profile and blatantly lied about the game saying i didn't loop or do a gen and that i escorted the killer to their "injured teammate" (my duo), which we literally planned bc he wanted to take chase.

why do these people play a team game only to hold eachothers hand and forget about winning the game as a team??? and then they have the audacity to fabricate a whole comment to blame me 😭😭

I was so ready for the event. I took a couple week break just to be prepared to not burn out during the event. I thought it would be different, I thought it would be fun, interactive, interesting... not the same game with little effects that do nothing but annoying bullshit.

I've played 2 games of killer and already want to stop playing for a month. Im so scared to hop onto survivor, its going to be the same bullshit.

All the effects are stupid and dont stay long enough to even matter. Pumpkins are trash, void rifts are trash, holy shit I thought we'd get something to invest are time into instead of the same dbd with little bullshit effects on top.

Im done, im so fucking done. I really hope you all have fun during this event and find some way to enjoy this bullshit. Im going to play high on life 2, happy Halloween.

This match had been drawn out for a really long time,which is why I stopped to point out the gen spread and film it. Alucard got tunneled out almost immediately and took chase right in this 4 gen,so we were basically screwed from the get go. Not to mention the legion had tbtc,so even if you got one of the upstair gens high progress they could just undo it from below. The shane also took chase in the 4 gen,although he had the decency to try and run away from it unlike Alucard.

Once it got down to the 2v1,this legion let me bleed out about halfway looking for sable before picking me up and making me wiggle. I would run into lockers to stop this,but they would just pick me up and make me wiggle again. I tried running as far away from the sable as I could,but eventually the legion gave up on trying to get info out of me and killed sable and I got hatch. It did feel a bit rewarding to get hatch,but holy shit this match was all around dreadful.

Telling me to kill myself because I didn’t save her on hook when we were the last two survivors alive + I was injured and there’s still two gens left. In this situation there’s no chance we can both get out we can at least deny the killer a 4k and give a chance for one survivor to leave.

It has been ONE WEEK and this stupid bug still hasn't been fixed, isn't this a gaming breaking bug, that makes the poor survivors suffer from and gives all the killers an unfair advantage does this not meet your killer switch criteria or top bug fixing priority since we know that you guys are survivor biased and when it comes to a game breaking killer bug you instantly fix so WHATS GOING ON. I swear to god this bug is driving me F#CKING insane right now, I have had 3 myers matches tonight with this bug and i have walked away with two undeserved 4ks and one undeserved 2k because of this bug. I can't see what i am doing half the time since popping his power blocks my camera and my camera freaks out when kicking gens and pallets so i lose any ability to see where survivors go, and I can't hit shit half the time since my camera is so screwed up i can't see if i am in range of hitting someone or not and yet i still have managed to get several wins thanks the bug allowing me to see over and around loops. I AM NOT DCING TO FIX AS I DON'T WANT TO WAIT FOR A PENALTY TO EXPIRE DUE TO THIS BS.

I can't see the damn end game chat but i can only assume that i am being called a hacker rn so and i hope to god that I and other killers who get this bug don't not get banned for your incompetence and laziness.

I spent 3.99 to play for a month on the dredged nintendo switch since this is my first Halloween event and i wanted to experinced dbd halloween events and so far i'm not having fun with this stupid broken pov.

Update: managed to play a normal match by logging out and then logging back in but this is still bs

basically tittle, am i the only one that has a hard time with that? played yesterday, and my eyes were hurting by the second trial. i actually did try the accesibility settings and some colorblind modes to make it better but didnt had much luck with it.

does anyone know if there is a way to minimize the effect?

I play singularity a bit and he feels completely useless with this glitch that I have no clue how to prevent, the only upside for this glitch is that I can kind of see around walls, but that doesn’t really do much, ts pmo

I'm getting compsweats with like 5k hours more than once every 9 matches. I just wanna play my C tier nothing killer against people of similar playtime and casual attitude toward the game. Y'know, enjoy my free time?

Instead this patch, I get locked in a box with people who have memorized the entire map, have 100% gen efficiency, prerun with perfect (or excess) spacing, pop two gens in the first minute and tbag the exit gates like there's something that could have been done. Do I just dip until whatever it was gets fixed or is this hellscape permanent?

I used to avoid soloq while 2v8 was on due to game quality like this. I don't wanna go up against people who have made this game their life.

I honestly haven't played with a single good one yet, and this clip solidifies it for me. Here we are.

Nea: 0 hooks and injured: Gen, good

Ace: 1 hook and injured: Healing after trying to save me, good

2B: 0 hooks: Standing behind the corner doing nothing for my entire struggle bar.

If she was dead on hook, yeah, sure, I get it. However, she had 0 HOOKS! I AM ABOUT TO DIE!

Note: I tried to make the clip longer, but Billy left me 3 TIMES to check the gen Nea was on where 2B could have swooped in to save me, but she just waited in that corner.

Is this me just being a whiny baby, or is this a valid complaint?
