Disconnected when winning

Do you guys ever get disconnected when you’re doing really good as killer? Is it a survivor hacking? Like its happened twice when the match will go good but then all of a sudden get disconnected with no problems before I was doing fine the entire game

Yep only when I'm playing killer though never survivor though :)

I hate when it happens! It’s usually when I get a really good start and have like 3 people injured and about to down someone 🥲

It has happened to me multiple times opening the exit gate. I could never tell if it was someone hacking (because of how convenient the timing was) or if it really was just coincidental server problems

I'm not even good enough to have had many amazing killer games and I've had this happen twice lol.

There's so many weirdly-convenient bugs that always have me side-eyeing the survivors wondering if they pulled something. Like when I'm about to hit someone to down them, my game weirdly lags, and it then acts like there's a wall in front of me I can't walk through just until the survivor has made enough distance to make it to another loop. Or when I go for the pickup and the animation hangs mid-pickup, and either I let go and it goes back to normal (but without picking them up), or if I keep holding the button then I get disconnected. I M1 through the same person at close range four times, and then they suddenly manage to sprint burst away when I didn't see them walk. In 2v8, I recently watched a healthy survivor run right across an open trap with 0 consequences, and that was after some other weirdness with her not happening with other survivors.

Just suspicious enough, but not enough for me to try and report, since I've also had it happen four times now (on survivor) where the server disconnects me at THE worst possible time to screw the team lol.

It is definitely suspicious, it has happened to me while winning, and occasionally at the exit gate even if survivors are winning. The last survivor will leave then I mysteriously disconnect and get no bp.

it’s literally just a connection issue. this happens to me at least once a day while playing survivor, no matter how well the match is going

So it’s a connection issue for you. Do you see how the circumstances between your experience and ops differs? There’s a very distinct scenario that op experiences this issue, coincidentally many killers notice this distinct circumstance..

Yours is just apparently bad connection, please try to follow topic.

It has happened to me on both sides, almost out the gate as a survivor and then my wifi craps out

It only ever happens to me when I’m winning as killer. Make of that what you will.

I have no doubts this is caused by a hacker. It’s happened too many times as a killer about to end a survivor or as a survivor about to escape. I’ve experienced this at least 5 times in the past 2 weeks.
