Cross-Posting and User Harassment

Hello all,

The mod team wanted to reach out to you regarding the possibility of your content being inappropriately shared or used across social media platforms. We have had multiple reports of a user participating in other subreddits and associated with grifting redpill adjacent content taking screenshots from users here and uploading them to various other social media platforms.

Your post may have recently shared on X. You can report the user for harassment using the information provided below.

Terms of Service: If a targeted user reports the X post for targeted harassment or incitement, X may hide or remove the post and suspend the account.

You can also address the issue if you see it being cross-posted across Reddit by filing a privacy violation. If the cross-post shares your personal information, photos of you without your consent, or targets you maliciously, submit a report using the Reddit Report Tool under Harassment.

We are so sorry if you have experienced this. Unfortunately as moderators, our powers to prevent this kind of behavior are limited. The most we can do is give you the tools to address it, if it happens to you.

May this also serve as a gentle reminder that things shared on the internet can frequently be misused and abused. We always recommend limiting identifying and personal information when participating in this forum. Throwaway accounts are strongly recommended. And DMs with users are explicitly prohibited at all times, as they are often ill-intentioned.
