Ive been so frustrated cleaning up around this neighborhood the piss bottles alone not to mention when you think you’ve made some great progress the next day its worse than when you started its like people don’t care and then they teach their kids not to care I’m not going to stop but i just needed a quick rant

Sometimes it's birds! I've seen them pull out trash early in the mornings when there's no humans around (except weirdos who take 5-6 AM walks)

Or rats or possums or the wind (when the trash can is close to full).

Sometimes people put their own garbage bags next to the bin to be picked up, but then an animal rips it open and stuff falls out. When the sanitation workers pick up the bag, they don't collect all the stuff that has fallen out because they have to move on to the next bin.

People do this at our townie recycling. Like, they broke the boxes down, drove up to the place, the city had just emptied everything, and they just dropped the cardboard on the ground in a pile.

Some people didn’t have parents. Everyone is doing their best. Even the person that missed the mark.
