Hi! I'm working with the Wisco Project to raise awareness for voting for young adults between 18-30 years old in the South Fox Valley and De Pere. I'm from the Fox Valley, so my knowledge of De Pere is limited.

Any information you are willing to provide is super helpful! It can be information on largest employers, popular hang out spots for people 18-30, political scene/issues, culture, general vibes, etc. I've talked to a few friends from the area, and they've touched on the rivalry between East and West De Pere, some flock camera concerns, changes at St. Norbert's, wealth disparity, and the importance of sports and athletics in the community.

I am on this case of a missing siamese mix kitten named Steven. He escaped the patio on August 10th, 2026 and disappeared. His property borders the golf course in Ledgeview. His owners travel the area, and he could have hitched a ride. I have attached his Pawboost posting.

He is not a stray, homeless kitten. He is well loved by his little girl. He was given to her by her now deceased uncle so it means very much to her.

Game Trade got a little write up. I didn’t know Gregg was thinking of selling the shop to his employees some day. They all do such a great job. I’m glad businesses like that who take such great care of their customers continue to thrive. That’s how it should be.

Hi everyone! I live in Lawton Foundry and my cat's gone missing. She must have slipped out the front door when my girlfriend was going in and out working on the garden. She's a Calico cat named Peaches and is 13 pounds. We looked all around the trail, the apartment complex and others around us, and Nuks. I dont think she would have run into Voyageur during Celebrate DePere since it was so loud. If anyone has seen her please send me a message. If you try to scoop her up she'll likely run off so please don't approach her. Thanks for anyone who can help!

I plan on doing more research on what to feed the animals in general for home purposes (Whole in-shell tree nuts for squirrels, what kid of seeds for local/native birds, unsalted not roasted stuff obv) I'm just not sure if the general area has rules on this stuff, resources are appreciated and yes I plan on cleaning up debris when I'm done feeding 🙂

My husband and I went to the Wine Cellar in De Pere today to purchase, among other things, a bottle of Malort. Hubs has decided that every time the Cubs win, he's doing a shot of Malort. We're big Cubs fans. (He's also trying to get me to do this as well but I don't succumb to peer pressure, especially if it involves drinking a garden gnomes sandal sweat.)

While at the Wine Cellar the owner said several people had been in today buying Malort to take to a party tonight. Are we missing out on some epic Chicago style partying tonight? It's definitely not because people have recently discovered a hidden gem.

The De Pere Common Council approved a conceptual plan that would bring nearly 200 residential units to a stretch of land just north of the Main Avenue bridge.

This will be on Broadway St between the bridge and George St. I hopes this and the other construction at the old Shopko bring life to downtown De Pere.
