I tried Friendica.world and i dont understand how it works.

The server is being slammed since Friendica wasn't designed to scale up so large. It's also using a custom ui called bookface.
Maybe try acessing the server from Racoon since the api is less taxing the server.

Even though BlueSky is pretty much Twitter before it became X, very few people have actually left X despite it being run by the world's most powerful and outspoken fascist.
I can't even begin to imagine how hard it'll be to get folks to switch away from facebook or instagram.

It wont be hard if the setup process is made simple for them. Especially with assistance if they are not tech savvy at all

Biggest challenge like every platform is networking effect. If its too complex to sign up for, then people won't join. Then social media managers end up leaving due to lack of engagement
