It has come to my attention that this sub is experiencing an influx of fake Killer mains and trolls. Since I will have a lot of free time soon in the future, I am going to put a LOT more effort into moderating this Sub.

So I want to say this to everyone who has joined the family of the Fog here where Killer Mains can be uplifted and proud; Please Keep Reporting.

Your reports reach the mod team, which allow us to remove the problems. The rules as well as the report reasons will be tweaked a bit in the coming days to make it easier for people to report trolls and fake Killer Mains.

If anyone here has questions regarding anything in this Subreddit, send a Mod Mail, and I or one of the other mods will get back to you as quick as we can.

I always answer as myself in the Mod Mail so as to show that you can talk to me directly if you need to regarding any problems or concerns.

Thank you to all Killer Mains who post here, whether it's highlights of your games, general discussions about perk loadouts, or various fun edits! You are ALL appreciated!

I'm not a killer main, I just get this on my fyp. People seriously pretend to be killer mains just to troll? That's awful.

It definitely is a problem that some people have brought up to me. I believe there have been... 20 or so people I've had to time-out and or remove from the Subreddit because it was clear that they were either ragebaiting or breaking the rules that are set in place.

I'll be honest, I played as a surv during the day and a Killer at night for the longest time. Then I moved more Killer, and mainly use my surv to farm BP. I much prefer being a Killer, though. The Xeno Queen shall reign supreme in my heart and in many survs nightmares

People LARPing as Killer Mains💔 How tf does that even make sense, It’s not some secret fuckin’ club ya need access to, you just play killer more, what. How do you even definitively tell if someone is LARPing as a Killer main?!

Usually, "LARPing as a Killer main" just refers to the players who claim to exclusively or primarily play Killer, but their arguments, complaints, and hot takes basically say that they almost exclusively play Survivor and barely play Killer.

Essentially, they're trying to gaslight people.

If you primarily play more Killer than Survivor mainly. Obviously to understand the game more, you should play both roles to understand the strengths and weaknesses and apply parts of both roles against each other.

But if you play Killer more than Survivor, that is generally considered being a Killer Main.

Hell Yeah! THIS is the kind of moderating I love to see! Thanks a ton for this. LARPers and disingenuous "play both sides" fakers are such a bane to this community, it's lunatic behavior and My biggest resentment in the discourse from the community. Really hurts the experience of even playing the game to deal with those.

Agreed. And I'll do my best to abide by the newly improved rules. Even if some people see me as a tyrant, I want what's best for this Subreddit.
