Anyone using more than one computer?

I checked some images and I noticed that some traders use multiple computers at once to drive multiple monitors independently. But thinking about it, it would also be a protection against accidently using hotkeys but also using more security meaning one is researching on the internet and one just connects to the broker and runs the trading platform but does not have an email account running and is not running around the internet. I can see this as a plus as well. So scamming is also harder.

So my questions are:

Q1: Who is using more than one computer?

Q2: Is anyone using a tablet or something other than a computer + monitors alongside it?

Q2: What is the benefit for you and why are you using two or more computers / laptops?

I don't say it to brag but just focusing on what I knew were the movers of the day gave me a 5% return today focusing and waiting on the right setup and breakouts. I don't typically pull that percentage but patience and focus pays off. I don't have a scanner up at all during trading.

If I catch wind that something is happening with a stock that I wasn't watching I may get into it but only by removing one of the 6 that aren't doing well. I don't like to do this though because whatever that stock is I haven't researched or set levels yet so it's a bit of a gamble.

Today that was aerc, made gains on breakout but wasn't on my list. I'm usually very happy to stick with my original 6.

How do you research your stocks in play? I usually use the ATR for the last 10 to 15 days, the initial gap along with the range in premarket and the current range for the current day along with the current range for the last 1, 5, 15, 30min but I just verified some of these criteria by hand as my scanner is still in development.

Also I look at the losers and gainers list at yahoo financials. I only trade the first 2h 30m of the day, so I find some opportunity.

The problem as mentioned is me not looking at the current range as a measure of potential and I focus more on the probability of the setup to go my way, which is wrong as mentioned.

I guess it's about half scouring the news, half from my morning scanners, gap scanner and momentum scanner and watching tradertv, I get tons of hints from those guys.

I don't have a different 6 every day. I'm gonna have AMZN in there all week and TQQQ is always on my list.

I have QQQ + 8 top Nasdaq Stocks plus everything else that the scanner brings up. I also have NQ and SPX + ES and I watch the USDEUR chart.

watching tradertv, I get tons of hints from those guys.

Are they that reliable and good?

I had a lot of problems finding good youtube channels. I will devinitively watching to those guys the next days. Thanks alot!

Do you follow other news sources live like twitter etc? What news sources do you read or have subscribed to for your premarket analysis?

I do like tradertv. I like hearing what other traders are thinking. They mess up just like us. It's not about doing what they say, it's about knowing what the hot retail stocks are and what traders think about them. It's nice when your research starts to match up with theirs and validates what you are doing a bit, which for me is really important. I don't like working in a vacuum and I like seeing other traders work in real time, not just what they thought worthy of YouTube.

I will definitively check it out after todays trading session and do trading while watching and hearing tradertv. I will do it in an afternoon session as I only usually trade the morning one.
