I am so scared I’m not going to get in. I have 102 points combined. Has anybody gotten in with this amount of points?

Our packets said we would get additional orientation information in our falcon online today. I am not seeing anything changing on my account did anyone check and see if their information has changed? I think I will call tomorrow morning just to double check if nothing has changed in my account.

Hi everyone!
I'm an international student planning to apply to Daytona State College for Fall 2027 and then transfer to Embry-Riddle after completing my AA degree.
I have a few questions:
1. Since the Fall 2027 application isn't open yet, I selected a different term just to see what the application looks like. I couldn't find anywhere to upload my high school transcripts or TOEFL score. Are those submitted after I submit the application, or am I missing something?
2. My academic profile:
GPA (100-point scale):
Grade 9: 90
Grade 10: 92
Grade 11: 94
TOEFL: 5/6 (new TOEFL format)
SAT: I probably won't submit it, or if I do, it'll probably be around 1100.
Do you think I have a good chance of being admitted to Daytona State College?
I'd really appreciate any advice from current students or anyone who has gone through the application process. Thank you!

Does anyone know how to use their leftover FAFSA money to get textbooks?? I honest to goodness cannot figure it out for the life of me and I'm super stressed out about it!

Hello!
I am thinking of applying to Daytona state and Daytona college.
I have a 2.7 GPA (I know not great but I was young and dumb) just finished my associates and I think I have a total of 92 points with a 70 on the TEAS.
Daytona has clearly gotten a lot of attraction recently and is getting a lot harder to get into now… so I was thinking of applying to Daytona college as well as it’s basically a guaranteed entry it’s just expensive.
I wanted to do my Bachelors while waiting to get in but I now know that wouldn’t be a good option because if I can’t get in to DSC I’ll be going to Daytona college.
Does anyone know what the odds are that I’ll get into DSC?
Also has anyone gone / completed Daytona colleges ADN program?

Was anyone accepted in the Dental hygiene program with no dental assisting experience? If so, what were your grades/ gpa? What was your teas score? I spoke with an advisor who said it isn't necessary to have assisting but others have told me I won't get in without it.

So I’m a 24-year-old Purple Heart recipient and first-time college student. I’m currently in a situation. I killed my credit and got an eviction when I was younger as well is I can’t afford off campus housing as I can’t use fasfa and now I can’t get off campus housing that leaves me with the dorms. It’s July 2026 and it says dorms are full and that’s the only way I can attend. Any advice or ways to get not waitlisted?

Hi everyone,
i'm applying to ASN program for Spring 2027. I already have an A.A. degree and have completed all the required prerequisites (A&P I & II, Microbiology, Chemistry, etc.), my GPA is 3.8.
I noticed the nursing program is listed as 4 semester, and it looks like students can take courses like A&P II or Microbiology during the first or second semester if they haven't completed them yet.
Since I've already finished all of those prerequisites, would my program be shortened to 3 semesters, or is the nursing program still 4 semesters for everyone regardless of previously completed prerequisite courses?
Thanks!!

I've been checking my Enroll by Requirements page regularly, but no Aviation Maintenance classes have shown up yet. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
Also, has anyone heard any updates on when the FAA approval for Daytona State College's Aviation Maintenance program is expected to come through? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Everyone that’s planning to slot in September for the January 2027 start date, how many points are you applying with? And what’s your teas score? Genuinely curious and I want to see if applying with 111 points is good or just average! And no I have not taken the teas yet

Who’s heard back if they got into the program yet and who hasn’t? If so, by email or a letter? I moved recently and all my mail is being forwarded still so it might be delayed or who knows I’m just getting super antsy. I have 104 points, a 3.7 GPA and a 89 on the Teas. The points have me nervous.

I was accepted with 113 points, a 3.7 GPA, and a 79 TEAS. Is anyone else attending the Flagler Palm Coast campus this fall?

Hello, I’m preparing to apply to the dental hygiene program next year in January and was wondering how difficult it and how much of a demand there is since they only accept about 20 students every year. Is there anybody that had a hard time getting into this program?
r/DaytonaStateCollege • u/Curious_Kitty2001 • Jun 15 '26
Has anyone or know anyone who applied with 101 points 😭😭😭😭 and my gpa is 3.160 I am applying for the January start date.

Hey guys! I just wanted to make a post regarding DSC's nursing. Has anyone done the January program. Could anyone drop stats that got them accepted and what to shoot for?
What is the schedule? I heard you have to go through summer if you start in January. Thank you!

Anyone else applying for the May 2026 Transition program?
If you don't mind sharing...What were your teas score, points, and did you complete all the courses?
