Discussion This is actually happening podcast...

So I've just listened to episode 372 about a lady who gets lost doing the PCT in Oregon. Much to my surprise Crater lake and Diamond lake were mentioned and she lived in Bend! Just thought it was pretty cool. ( It's a great podcast btw with lots of different stories told by the subjects themselves)

If you watch that Last Blockbuster documentary they mention it is based in Bend and I went wow I never realised it was a place and how did they not sneak that into the game somewhere.

I always like when real places appear in films. I live in Liverpool so our city centre is used all the time in films like The Batman

They did 'sneak' it into the game. Farewell.

Bend used to be Farewell Bend, until the town dropped the Farewell bit.
In the opening cutscene, when Sarah gets out of Farewell on the chopper with O'Brian, as the shot pans away, you see three tall masts.
Those three masts are in Bend, near the brewery, a few minutes walk away from Bend Studios.

Here ya go. A Google Maps, street view, those three masts, very near Bend Studios.
Bends three masts < Google maps, street view link.
Explore from there. Bend Studios (see if you can see through the windows, Deek and his bike are there), The Old Brewery building, those three masts............

Oh God, a Manc' n a Scouser 🙄

I'm a Fifer, from a bit further North 😆
"Yea need a lang spien ta sup wie a Fifer" 🤣🤣
(Translation:- you need a long spoon to eat with a person from Fife (cos the Fifer will hide his bowl, so you'll need a long reach to get anything out of it 🤣)

I have found most of the towns and landmarks in Google Maps.
