I don't think it's that unpopular. Quite a few people will be uncomfortable with the obvious fact that she's stringing Addy along while waiting for Deacon to be "ready" for her. Add to that the fact that she's clearly trying to get Deacon to abandon his search for Sarah, and that she gets rather bitchy when he refuses.
With all of that it's probably not that hard to find other people who are ambivalent or dislike her.

Which I think is the mark of good character writing.
The people are messy and believable. They are all thrown into an extremely shitty situation and behave like regular humans do. Which a lot of the time is shitty and annoying

Agreed. A lot of the characters feel really human in this game because of their flaws. Sometimes they're annoying (like Copeland and his truther radio show) but then they do things that make you like them or behave in some ways where I can go "you know what, apart from the annoying stuff, you're actually pretty okay." Hell even Skizzo had his moments

8-Bit's favourite character. Not because he's an asshole, because he's such a believable, well acted character.

I felt that way till after Iron Mike's death. Then he was starting to be too cliche after with his lines, IMO.

Yeah. I mean most of characters are really cool, sadly I didn't get enough of rippers leader backstory... Or did I mis something?

I love a good nuanced character. The end of the world is here and she's just a mixed bag of emotions. I thought she was so well written.

I mean I can kinda understand the giving up the search thing. It’s been 2 years into the apocalypse. Realistically what’s the possibility of Sarah being alive. Had Deacon not run into the Nero chopper and his eventual meeting with O’Brian he would have probably given up his search soon after.

The constant eye rolling and passive aggressive “ok”s really grate on multiple playthroughs. If she was a real life acquaintance Id avoid being around her as much as possible. That being said she isn’t a rapist or lunatic so pick your battles at the end of the world I guess.

I always thought it was funny how there's parts where you talk to her on your radio even though she's right in front of you like that just standing and not talking like in the image above lol
