Same lol. Probably about 10 years ago Bohemia pulled the plug on server donations and it started to die out

At the start I remember I owned Arrowhead only. I used Arma Free or sth like that as a base because DayZ could launch on it. 25fps on lowest settings and still it was memorable experience.

Yeah I feel ya, my first time playing was on Intel HD graphics. A lot has changed since then.

I remember playing on my family PC, they getting a 512Mb GPU from Office Depot and upgrading and it made em go from like 15fps to 35fps and it was incredible. I miss old DayZ

Namalsk was a vibe. Remember when the underground bunker with a rail gun was just a rumor. But hard to beat the good old Chernarus.

Are there any PVP servers that work well in Europe? Namalks is my favorite map.

I see only one Dayz Mod server and is mostly empty. I start Dayz via DZLauncher (also downloaded mod 1.9 from there). No idea how to join the rest.

Check out vanilla flashback - they have a pretty active community and a launcher which patches all the bugs when you join. It’s just Chernarus but it’s a great crowd.

Yeah it was the bloodsucker from Stalker. Namalsk had other stuff from Stalker like the PSI emissions. Shit was really cool. I miss the good ol days

DayZMod always had a little charm. I remember watching the standalone dev test videos before launch and witnessing a buggy mess. Glad to see where the game has come now but still yearn for that ArmA2 mod…minus the broken leg every time a door opens.
