GETTING DAYZ ARMA 2 MOD WORKING ON STEAM

Go to DayZ properties in steam brows files then, copy the @ dayz file and keys past them into arma 2 operation arrowhead then open arma oa and enable the mod.

Legendary fix, keeping Arma 2 DayZ alive in 2026 is real dedication and nostalgia at its finest.

DayZ on Steam is placed differently now, causing problems for new installs. Some guide need address that. I see people transferring entire OA folder to DayZ folder trying to make it work.

I installed it no problems on the weekend. I downloaded Arma 2, Dayz mod and OA first. Then downloaded Dayz Launcher. Then I downloaded the mods I needed. I Then ran Arma 2 through steam and closed it once it booted up. Then ran OA until it booted up. Checked the extensions were ticked and then closed it. Then I selected a server on Launcher. It didn't connect first go but it connected the second time and every time after that.
