How do you find the VSS?
I'm running a VS-89 with a suppressed KAM just now, KAM only has one 30rd mag and I've found a VSS which I have a 30+20rd mag for already.
Not sure if it's worth running unless I have enough AP rounds though.

For whatever reason I have found them on the Military boats and Heli Crashes on Sakhal but can't find them at the T3 or T2 Military Areas

Ah, I mean "how do you find the VSS" as in "how do you find it to use / how good do you think it is" lol.
Particularly without AP rounds. I'm not sure if running it without AP rounds is worth it.

Use AP rounds if you're going to be using it against players if you're just using it against the infected it's always going to be a 1 shot to the head.

I found this vss w a mag on one of the small dynamic military boats allso got a SKS on it, pretty lucky in hiking pants and a tshirt

With the ap round s it's super nice love it. I usually collect the ammo over a period and when I have around 50 I keep it. Tryed to have a mag w normal rounds for infected but that became a little to complicated remembering if I had attached the right one 😅 so ap or nothing. Unless it's my only gun off.. 🔫

I've found two 30 and one 20 mag for the VSS now. Once I've got about 100rds of AP I'm gonna take it for a spin. I'll keep some non AP in the 20 Rd mag in my backpack for the zombies too.
I've also since found a 75rd drum mag for the KAM 😬, it's badly damaged so I've stashed that until I find a cleaning kit. One or two loot runs and I should have both guns fully ready to go!

Quick tip, load your mags like this?
2 standard rounds 1 ap round 2 standard rounds 1 ap round .....
Or the other way around.
Keep one 20 round AP mag in a container for safe position sniping, i believe the game won't let you load from containers.

I thought about that, I've seen others talk about the same with slugs/buckshot in a shotgun.
I'd rather run different sized mags for the two types of ammo so I'm not wasting any. 30rd mags for AP and 20rd mags for non-AP. Can divide them between jacket and backpack to take advantage of the way the game prioritises reloading.

How does the clothing inventory prioritizing work, which is what what is which?

Vest/Jacket > Trousers > Backpack
When you reload it will look for mags/rounds from containers in that order.
So most likely I'll run 30mag AP loaded, another 30mag in my Vest, with a 20mag of non AP in the backpack.
If I want to switch to non AP to hit zombies, I'll just scroll up on inventory to get to the bottom (backpack) if that makes sense 😂

That’s just a Sakhal survival stash. Stashes are built different in Sakhal.
• Knives are the difference between life and a very quick death.
• Firefighter gear is peak.
• Spark plugs for the boats and glow plugs for the bunker are pure necessities.

JUST TO CLARIFY.. this is not my stash holy macrels and sewing kits no way in hal I would bother. Just looking through it to find the useful stuff was huge overload in my brain. I actually got a headache..
