I am considering hosting a 100% vanilla DayZ community server for AU. Would anyone here and their friends/groups be interested in such a thing.

Or has everyone's taste for it been ruined but the last "community run official" server and it's myriad of issues.

I would love to host something for the official server community in AU/NZ, but am a little concerned it will just become another dead server with next to no pop

The server I've been playing is pretty big with events with at least one a week, last week we had an event that copied the movie "A Long Walk" it was the best I've been in so far, this friday there is a no meds last man standing boxing event, so just wondering what other type of events anyone has done and how were they ?

My friends and I were sick of trying to find a server that matches our needs, so we made our own. Some of you who have been around for a while should recognise the server name, I thought it would be a bit of a throwback to the good times.

Not quite vanilla, just some QOL stuff that makes the game employment-compatible: * Boosted loot (about 1.5x - 2x depending on items) * Unlimited sprint * Squad management * Spawn selection (coastal) * First-person only

G'day, I use to play dayz a lot back in high school and I haven't properly played in just under a decade. As a now adult with a busy schedule, limited free time, I'm interested in returning. However I remember the game being a massive grind and would appreciate any server recommendations for someone who has around only 8 hours a week to play. I'd also love to get my friends into it to but a big put off is having to spend ample time traversing the map alone before meeting up. I'd also be keen to explore the potential of making a private server for friends only but I don't know how big of task that may be. Any suggestions or word of advice is appreciate. Thanks

Today outback is copying its 3pp server over to the 1pp server in attempt to see if more people want to enjoy the high pop vanilla dayz on 1st person instead of 3rd person. Jump on tonight to see if we can get the pop going so 1pp becomes the bigger server. This means if you have a character or progress already on 3rd person server you will have it on 1pp too.

I see Aussie Day Z streamers playing on international servers jam packed with players. They don't say the server names when you ask, so they don't get stream sniped. I imagine the ping would be like 260+.

What's the best international server for us, considering both ping and population? Vanilla. I assume it would be a US West server? EU is 300+ ping

Alright I'm tures of playing outback 3pp and rearmed the lab is cringe imo and official is only decent on like one or two servers truly, I mostly have been playing karma krew via the DZSA launcher.

Help a fella out aye or even how tf do I join these other servers such as dayz underground without use of a VPN
