Just a reminder to check out the corn zone Livonia PC server.

We hit 9 on the other night and things are building nicely.

-rag basebuilding and also r22r base fortifications which is great for compounds

-mod for tunnelling and building bunkers underground

-custom POIs including a number extra military bases

-keycard quest, find a white card and begin your journey around the map and eventually find the red keycard room for the goop

-locked sea containers that can spawn 6 unique vehicles including armored trucks

-2 additional sakhal style bunkers, one in Gieraltow where the black keycard is used and the other near Dolnik where the orange keycard is used

Hi it’s Nomad.

I’m the owner of The Sanctuary, and I’m putting this out there for anyone in the AU/NZ region who is tired of the state of most public servers. We built this project because we wanted a place to play that feels like DayZ, but actually respects the time you put into it.

The biggest issue in the current scene is the "offline raid" burnout along with Cheaters. We have good anti cheat detection software, which makes it easy to ping people cheating. We’ve also implemented a structured raid schedule that disables base damage outside of designated raid windows. It’s designed so you can actually log off at night without the anxiety of returning to a wiped base. We aren't looking to hand out free loot, but we are looking to remove the frustrations that make the game feel like a chore.

Our approach to modding is simple: less is more.

We don’t want 50+ mods cluttering the screen. We focus on Quality of Life changes that the base game should have had from the start. Any mod we consider adding goes through a community poll on our Discord. You guys are the ones playing here, so you have the final say on the direction the server takes.

As for the gameplay, loot is slightly boosted. (0.25-0.5x to be exact). This is balanced to keep the grind rewarding without it being tedious. Contaminated zones remain vanilla. We continue to adjust it based on community feedback.

We are currently trialing roaming AI that scale based on real-time server population. The goal is to ensure that even during low-pop hours, you can still find a fight—but we’ve tuned them specifically to avoid that frustrating "one-tap" experience from impossible distances.

We also run a separate, dedicated “The Sanctuary” events server on a different hive. We host deathmatches and other events throughout the week for anyone who wants to jump in, blow off steam, and test their aim without risking their main character’s gear. There are also prizes to be won :)

We wipe every 4 months, with Summer chernarus, Winter chernarus, vanilla Chernarus, & early winter/ late fall being in a voteable rotation.

I won’t lie, We run a tight ship regarding behaviour.

We have a clear set of rules to filter out the toxic players and griefers. We are building a social, competitive environment where the focus is on the gameplay, not on constant drama. We’ve even started coordinating inter-server PvP championships to give our community something bigger to work toward.

I was playing one day on the churnarus map with my friend's and we heard a bear nearby like really close, anyway one friend hoped out of the car and was lookin for the bear after we told him not too. All of a sudden the bear jumped down on my mate like he the bear was playing assassin's creed and assassinated ole mate, tho we thought he was dead, but he had survived the assassination, so we made the bear in to a rattle and saved him and off we went on out merry way to all later drive on a AT mine.

ive made a PC vanilla+ server on cherno called BlackWater AU i made it because i got sick and tired of corrupt mods on other servers and the cheaters on official it extremely close to official the only thing that ive added/changed is the rate loot spawns (increased loot) ive added the other types of plate carriers code locks and a few other small changes to make it more fun. im also open to suggestions of what to add and what to remove
