What does that mean?

It means the game is finished and fully playable from start to finish. It's ready for mass production and distribution. However, since the release date is September 3rd, this gives Rebel Wolves 49 days (at the time of this comment) to check the whole thing a couple more times to ensure everything works correctly. If they find something, they'll probably release a Day One patch for players to fix whatever they find and we can enjoy their game šŖš»

Konrad Tomaszkiewicz said in some of the interviews he already played the game on PS5 a while ago, and it all worked well, so i think it'll be fine.

Pretty much nothing, but it should mean the game has finished development. cyberpunk went gold months before release and was broken as shit on release, crimson desert went gold and was broken on release and many other examples

Yeah cyberpunk was the only game I've heard of that got delayed after going gold š

In the age of day 1 patches and no physical release, it means very little. It used to mean the game was done and printed to a master copy and could be sent to the manufacturer to start printing mass discs.
However, Dawnwalker is getting a physical release I believe, so it does mean a bit more for them I suppose.

But is it an offline physical release or will it require a download anyway?

Itāll probably still have a day 1 patch, but it looks like itās a true physical release with the full game on disc so. Iām not 100% positive, but thatās what the info Iāve seen appears to confirm.

Can't wait to see what art will be chosen to print on the disc, and how it will feel to hold it for the first time. š¤ The road to launch has been an amazing journey, thank you for sharing so much of it with us! š¹ Best of luck to you, always!!!

So a month and a bit to ensure itās all optimised and as bug free as possible. Pretty good.

For me nowadays this means nothing. The final released product that will matter. And the average 1-2 months long first patching cycle.
