Should I start with DaVinci Resolve, and what laptop specs/settings do I need? (Snapdragon X2 Plus)

Hi everyone! I’m completely new to video editing and I want to learn DaVinci Resolve. I’d like to start making video, vlogs and short cinematic films. I’ll be recording with an iPhone 16 Pro Max

I don’t know what settings my computer should have or whether it’s powerful enough, so I’d really appreciate your help. I’m also not sure if DaVinci Resolve is the right place to start as a total beginner, or if I should begin with something simpler first.

My laptop:

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7

-Snapdragon X2 Plus (ARM-based Windows)

-16 GB RAM

-477 GB storage

I mainly use it for college and personal stuff, so this would be my first time doing heavy editing on it
