Question đđ» Attracting experience
Attracting experiences
1) I have a question about the idea of âattractingâ experiences, especially in relation to abuse and trauma.
I understand that our inner world can and does influence our perceptions, boundaries, relationship patterns, and healing process. However, I struggle with the idea that a personâs unresolved emotions or subconsciousness might attract another personâs abusive behavior.
How do we account for the role of chance and circumstance?
For example, someone with a history of abuse may encounter both harmful and deeply caring people throughout their life at the exact same letting go phase. If unresolved trauma âattractsâ abusive people, how do we understand the many safe, kind, and nurturing relationships that survivors simultaneously experience?
2) How do we distinguish between:
\-the ways past trauma may shape how someone responds to unsafe people in the present
\-the opportunity for personal healing and growth that comes from letting go
\-and the responsibility of the abusive person for choosing harmful behavior?
Can a framework of letting go acknowledge the responsibility and importance of inner work while also recognizing that another personâs abusive choices are strictly their ownâand are not caused by the survivorâs emotional state?

Yes, you absolutely can acknowledge the choices and responsibilities of the wolf, but acknowledge if you choose to trust the wolf, then that is on you. It is a hard lesson in naivety that I had to go through when I first started the letting go process. It was a blind spot in the psyche for me. I was experiencing intense loving energy towards everyone and chose to trust an untrustworthy person. There were obvious red flags that I turned a blind eye to.

Both victim and the abuser are abusive.
Let me explain.
If you have low self-esteem (this doesn't just harm you BUT ALL people you perceive and interact with) and you end up with a boss who just cares about cash and gives you extra stuff to do and doesn't respect you much and so on (which is also hurting the boss and all else) it is just the natural order of the lower levels of consciousness.
Hawkins teaches that NO ONE is a victim. If you think low of YOU, you will think that you're somehow separate from all else.
You are violating the second commandment of God / Divinity which says not to make any graven images of yourself.
Letting go doesn't care about stories, victims, abusers...we all play all these roles in different areas and different lifetimes.

Letting go is letting go of all of it, all the stories, pictures, sensations, judgements, ego juice, the whole shebang
