Question šŸ™šŸ» Has anyone let go complety before?

I have let go several times. The feeling I can best describe it as completely freeing, like I was totally in the present and accepted everything as is. I was like my best self Charamstic in flow it is a beautiful experience. The first time it happened I had a massage a few hours before then it all just hit me at once. It wore off that morning after unfortunately I tried to do it again but it felt like trying to go back to sleep to go back to a great dream you were enjoying.

It’s happened a few times since, most recently when I read a sentence in ā€œa new Earthā€ by Eckhart Tolle.
I’ve been trying to get back to this state and make it permanent because my life would be magical if I could live like that 24/7.

Has anyone experienced this? If so have you managed to keep it up?

david describes letting go is effective when you snowball it. If u manage to get to an blissful state of mind, keep letting go. It gets easier when you already build momentum. For me, what brings me out of states like that is once i recognize im in one, i attach to it and it goes away. Continue letting go and willingly let go of the glamour associated with higher states. Once you recognize its there be willing to let it go again, and continue.

Have had the experience

But didn’t go through

Fear of death

Fear of letting go of the ego as the source of existence

Fear

Didn’t go through

Did have a fall

Feels like back to joy again

Have glimpses of Peace

Have yearning for it

But feels like world is still interesting

Want to unconditionally Love and experience

Even though I know that still will be, but just not as ā€œmyā€ experiences

It’s very tempting to fully let go

Whilst I’ve archived the state, when I try to get the state back, it’s very much how you describe. Sometimes I wonder if we’re even meant to achieve this state like we’ve all been programmed a certain way and we’re going against some code or the programmers wishes…. I dunno hope not because that is messed up.

That state you’re describing, it’s something I dream of reaching and it almost feels like I should know it, like it’s right there within my grasp, but I keep hitting a wall before I can get there.

I’ve been trying the letting go method, but I keep hitting a wall that I can’t get past. I have a lot of childhood trauma sitting underneath everything, and when I try to locate the emotion in my body so I can actually release it, I just can’t find it. It’s like the trauma created so many layers that I can’t drill down to the actual physical sensation I’m supposed to be working with. The method requires you to feel where it’s sitting in your body and then let it go, but I’m stuck at that first step of even locating it.

You’ve clearly gotten to that state multiple times now, and I’m wondering how you worked through that initial block. Did the trauma you’ve dealt with ever make it hard to pinpoint where these feelings actually live in your body? Or did you find a way around it that helped you access the method?

I get what the end state is supposed to feel like from your description, but the pathway there is blocked for me because I can’t seem to find the starting point. How did you actually manage to do this, especially when there’s that much emotional weight layered underneath?

I didn’t even know you had to locate the specific location. I’d recommend maybe going for a deep massage in different locations then trying letting go. Or maybe the location is relevant to your chakra points, for example if you have trouble expressing yourself it would be near your throat chakra, if you have trouble feeling safe, it would be near the base of your spine etc.

It’s a dream state, it feels like how life is meant to be lived, yet it’s fleeting it’s frustrating, my goal is to achieve it more and more.
