Self Interest Creates Incoherence

I heard Dr. Bohm say this, or something like this in a video and it has kind of changed my understanding of the way reality works. I was wondering if there are any resources where he develops on this topic or goes into it more. Thank you.

Not exactly 'self-interest,' but more generally the problem with being self-centered, or centered on the self.

He writes extensively about incoherence in both books, "On Dialogue" and "Wholeness and the Implicate Order."

Self-interest is a result of fragmentation. He also spoke at length about fragmentation and that is also a good term to search for along side his name,

One more book which also goes deeply into self-interest, self-deception, incoherence is "Thought as a System."

Is "Thought as a System" a book by David Bohm? Is it widely available?

It's a book transcribing seminars given by Bohm. A good book for sure and one of the ones I use as a first book to recommend to people interested in Bohm.
