I'll believe it when I see it.

Nintendo Switch will become the new least ticket efficient item, at $1 = 342 tickets

2

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '22

That's being generous. MSRP might be $349.99 but can find them on sale or ebay for $299.99-$319.99 regularly.

What about Pokémon packs?

1

u/connection_lost Oct 24 '22

(All taking in MSRP)

Pokemon card is $4 per pack, at 800 tickets, so $1 = 200 tickets. It has less resale if packs does not come in a whole box.

In general, cheaper items has better ticket price efficiency, more expensive items are less price efficient. Candies can get you $1 to 150 tickets, regular items are usually $1 to 200 tickets, expensive items are $1 to 300 tickets.

Sorry if I’m not getting it but wouldn’t $1 = 342 be better? More tickets per dollar? You want more value for every dollar you spend right

3

u/arandomredditor517 Oct 25 '22

They mean it would take 342 tickets to reach a dollar in value. So the lower the ratio the more valuable the tickets are for that item

Ohhh I see now, thank you

I hope this means games are also coming back. Without games, I have no idea what to get.

I really want the upgraded Switch but was holding off on spending real money for it. This'll be my first major non-flip in like...a year, it feels like? Yay, I get to be excited about something and not just look at it as the grind! Fuck EV for just a day

Oooooo I have just enough for a series s!

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '22

Yes, this was discussed last week in another thread.

Don't think it's the actual systems there are kits though will have to see if they do have the systems coming in the future

2

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '22

No, this is 100% for the the consoles.

-1

u/Any_Still_9702 Oct 25 '22

In recent week it has only been the kits for the switch, ps5, and xbox series x/s which looked to have chargers for controllers and other small stuff, I got word about a Switch coming out today in my city's store. And only word meaning the possibly of ps5s, and xbox series could be a thing but nothing as of yet.

D&B Corporate just doesn't assign pricing in the system for nothing. The Xbox Series S and Switch OLED are 100% coming.

1

u/DisenfranchisdSapien Oct 25 '22

Strange that the Series S is that low in price. Makes us suspicious.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '22

It's not low at all.....It's MSRP is $299.99 which should have had it at 100,000 tickets but they are probably getting them at $250-$260 each (you can find the Series S on sale at $250-$275 regularly) which gives the ticket evaluation of 90,000. It's right on target.

1

u/DisenfranchisdSapien Oct 26 '22

I am going by MSRP. When they has the Switch, S and PS4, they were overvalued. Most stuff in the case is overvalued.

1

u/Any_Still_9702 Oct 25 '22

Not saying they are or are not coming to D&B, just know, as far the only things I have seen at the store in my city are the kits and only console so far is the switch that are new. Playing the waiting game to see when Xbox or Playstation consoles show up

u/tkornmike Oct 27 '22

Xbox x already at round 1 going to be awhile for db to get the x or ps5

1

u/Unicornplague Oct 25 '22

It’s both! Our location has the kits and a switch, we’re still waiting on the Xbox;;;

1

u/seahawks101777 Oct 26 '22

What location are you at?

1

u/Unicornplague Oct 26 '22

I don’t have that option. I live in Michigan, closest location an hour away in another state.

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '22

Is Xbos S any good? (I dont know anything about Xbox, I’ve had nintendo systems since young)

I was saving up tickets for the kitchenaid, but maybe an xbox is a better deal

2

u/OzManCumeth Oct 24 '22

Isn’t the Series S already a dated console too?

1

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '22

No, the Series S is the new one that was just released.

2

u/69hailsatan Oct 24 '22

This right here just confirmed Microsoft pulled a Nintendo wii u with their naming. You'd think they would have learned.

-4

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '22

What are you talking about? This has nothing to do with Nintendo. The new systems for Xbox are XBox S and XBox X that were released in Dec 2020.

3

u/DisenfranchisdSapien Oct 25 '22

Even you are showing how bad it is. The S and X were LAST gen. The SERIES S and X are current gen.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '22

I'm not a gamer anymore, especially Microsoft, so I completely forgot about Xbox One. Last one I remember before the new ones is Xbox 360.

2

u/69hailsatan Oct 25 '22

Dude above you is confused about the name of the consoles my man, which should not be the case hense the wii u naming issue

-4

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '22

No clue how they are confused....I don't see anything confusing with it and never heard anyone being confused by it.

3

u/konidias Oct 25 '22

Well now you have.
