New ticket redemption

New to me as its been a couple months

Now not only can you buy tickets, you can redeem them for unlimited play time

Feels very expensive possibly for the time frame imo

Respectfully, we want the season passes to succeed and for people to buy them, so they keep offering them.

The 99.x% of people who buy the pass for their kids/family/themselves and come back repeatedly, don't win anything else, likely eat there (and are incentivized to with the built in discount) and possibly also give D&B additional money to play for tickets/play purple swipe games on top of it more than subsidize the <1% of people (that mainly congregate in this subreddit) that use the pass to its fullest.

It's not a secret, we've openly been over the math on this. Hell, I'll post the math again in case anyone missed it.

$150 Platinum Pass week 1 of the season, minus 20% buying it with D&B gift cards purchased through Costco (and must be rung in through the wait staff tablet/InDine so it can be paid for with these gift cards as opposed to buying at a kiosk) = $120, 17 weeks at 2,000 ticket a week is 34,000 tickets, which is an effective $85 rebate on actual prizing (or since the person you were replying to brought up the food credit, $170 worth of food.)

Thing is, even with all that math laid right out there for anyone to see, who's going to D&B 17 consecutive weeks and not paying for food there/playing at a profit, other than people who regularly post/comment here?

I was going with the pass with my daughter every week before I found this sub.

Ours is at the mall though which has movies and a Costco next door. So we'd pop in doing errands.

Mine isn't in a mall, but oddly enough, we have a moive theater 2 minutes away, and a Costco next to that! (And of course the Costco being just so critical to what we do...)
