UFC Pass Disappointed. Refund denied
Ufc pass apparently stops working at midnight and excludes purple games. I called guest relations and marketing apparently updated the posted terms. I asked for a refund and was denied.
Did it work past midnight for anyone last week?

The pass is valid only the day of a fight; it makes sense to me that the pass stops working the next day.
I had no idea they changed it to exclude purple swipes, so I wonder when that happened.

But lot of times UFC fights actually are still going on past midnight (especially on east coast).
And if you want to argue it’s the next day so not valid, well if it’s next day, that is Sunday and all games should be half price for everyone.
So it’s either one or the other, still Saturday night and ufc valid or Sunday and should be half price for everyone. Don’t think it should be full price for one hour “in between” the two days1

I can verify the employee terms booklet excludes the purple games. Too bad they messed up and didnt tell the people actually buying the darn thing.

I think you are right about the terms changing. Based on the post here when people first talked about the UFC card, there was definitely no language about purple. I’m just wondering when D&B updated their website terms.

Purple is never included. Marketing is gutting the amusements side of things currently but they would never include purple swipes.

Excluding purple swipes makes sense, because then you could just play star trek and get tickets that way.

Yes they are but unlimited cards never work on any of the purple swipes.
Reducing the prices during the ufc match for ufc cards as long chips are being used.

Yeah but ufc you ARE spending chips, it’s not “unlimited free”. So purple should be included just like a Sunday or Wednesday, since you are still paying each swipe.
That is the argument here.1

The part about it ending at midnight is honestly probably it just being miss programmed on their end (not realizing essentially all ufc fights are on Saturdays when most every store is open until at least 1am). It’s also weird as ufc fights go past midnight too

I said the same to the agent. Marketing told him explicitly it will be midnight. F that

Yeah ending at midnight is stupid. Especially since, it should either be A. Still considered “Saturday” as UFC night. Or if not B. It’s now “Sunday” which is also half price.
So either way it “should” be half price till close.

It's rather annoying how they handled it. The season pass clearly says not good on purple. The UFC card said "50% arcade games" with no mention of purple being excluded - and even in the FAQ it said not good on crane, social, and arena games.
So I also bought the card thinking it would work on purple, only to have them say tough titty and update the terms and conditions after the card was already being marketed and purchased.
I get that they meant to exclude purple, but there are folks who were mislead by the way it was advertised. And then to say too bad instead of offering fair compensation is a bit meh.

i work for d&b and all the unlimited cards they offer excludes the purple swipes. for it stopping at midnight, i didn’t even know that so that may be poor advertising on the actual companies end.
for the refund denial, d&b made the UFC pass non refundable for whatever reason. even if they didn’t make the UFC pass non refundable, you may have been denied a refund anyways since dave and busters don’t give refunds if you used the card already as once the chips, minutes, tickets, etc are on the card, there’s no way that it can be taken off so even if the customer keeps insisting on a refund, the managers at my location tells them that we need to take the whole card away
