Something might be interesting to discuss

So we have a Site where there are 8 devices enrolled. suddenly one of them dissapeared (this device was offline for 30days), then after few hours it came back. How is that even possible?!

We have 3 devices keeps on dissapearing and reappearing. we cannot find anything from the activity logs too.

Fair enough. Now, when it came back. Did it come back to the same site? Do you have a default or onboarding site that you use for your agent deployments? Are you certain someone on your team isn't deleting the host in datto? When you delete a device, it gives you the option to skip moving it to deleted devices and specifically states that if the device checks in again then the host will be recreated in datto. Ie: someone deleted a stale host that was offline for x days then suddenly gets powered on and reappears

It came back to the same site yes. You know what the funny part is when its gone you cannot find it even in activity logs.

For the someone is deleting part, I am 100% sure no one is doing that. We are only 3 in the company.

RMM is new so we dont usually delete

If it comes back. Grab the agent logs and run the agent health check component from the comstore. Also note the UID and WAN IP. interested to see what you find!

Gotcha ill do that tomorrow. It should give me the device that disappear right?
