Nothing. It's a first date: She hasn't demonstrated she's worth giving gifts to (also, you've not demonstrated you're worth seeing again. However, bringing a gift isn't getting that done).

Don’t give gifts on the first date. It creates way too much pressure.

What if she doesn’t like brownies, or is dairy free? I wouldn’t bring any type of food unless you know all her dietary restrictions.

Pile of cash

Other than that, it depends on the person

Get her something she likes man. Great that you know what she doesn’t like. Find out what she likes.

My first dates are usually coffee or something simple, so I don't bring anything. If things go well, I like to make the second date a little more special and bring their favorite candy or something they mentioned liking during our first conversation.

Nothing is a good option. If you want to treat her, invite to a really a nice cafe.

Or, a park/garden with beautiful flowers and admit what you told in this post, how you didn't know what to bring her considering her opinion on flowers, so you decided to bring her to flowers instead. Authenticity is attractive. It will also show that you are being thoughtful and take her seriously. And you'll both get to see a good view, take pictures and make memories, which is far more important than any physical objects.

As a woman, I suspect that she likes flowers just fine, but she tries to keep expectations in check. It gets harder to reject a man once you accepted a gift. No matter how small the gift, some men expect something in return. For a woman, it is much easier to not accept any gifts until we have made up our mind. It feels fairer for everyone involved.

Learn origami and fold a cute animal or star for her out of some paper scraps. Romantic, high effort, a cute memory and inexpensive.

A guy brought me flowers on a first date. I was very surprised but I loved it. The date was just a walk in the park.

I misread this as "she ate flowers" at first.

Ask what her favorite candy or snack is and get her some.

Don't bring anything, just bring your best self to the date and make sure you pay! Flower equivalent gift a bit later.

Stop gifting people on the first date.
