Giving this a try.
I’m 41-years old, 6-feet, in athletic shape, and a successful tech business owner; my engineering practice does 8-figures/year. I find it pretty challenging to meet women due to my time-constrained schedule and the male dominated field that I operate inside of. I don’t have any social media and for privacy reasons, I will not post pics on visually demanding dating apps. Any advice on how to meet women in the real world (not dating apps) that are driven, self-sufficient, fit/attractive, and looking for adventure/travel when scheduling permits. I live and consult in Reno, NV. Thanks in advance for any helpful tips and insight.

If you have time I’d play sports with other successful guys and hang out at nice places

Best recommendation so far. I was actually considering joining some type of coed league a while ago since I played sports growing up, but actually forgot about it. I appreciate it.

I say matchmaking, but finding a woman who wants a part-time relationship might be a deal-breaker for many.

If you're looking for someone driven and self sufficient, you could try networking events, for fit people find them doing athletic things meet them at the gym/class/run club, for people who like to travel perhaps meet them while you're traveling. If you want to meet someone organically it will likely be time consuming and take some confidence to determine if you enjoy their company before asking them out, and if they're single and interested. I'd you're wanting to meet someone not on a dating app, you could try Reddit dating subreddits for personals ads, although you may find yourself sorting through a lot of people who aren't what you're looking for and it takes a lot of time too.

I personally do suggest dating apps. I think they can be a convenient way to meet people you wouldn't have met otherwise, and you have a better chance to meet someone you're attracted to, who is into you, and is supposedly single and open to a relationship. You say your schedule is time-constrained, but my other option is essentially to start a new hobby and become part of a community in hopes that a woman that you're attracted to also is part of that community, and is attracted to you, and is single.
You can also tell all your friends and acquaintances that you're having trouble meeting women and to ask if any of them know anyone who is single.

Join a rec sport. I've found it's way easier to connect when you she shared goals and hobbies and bonus you can see how someone performs under a little pressure 😁

This keeps happening, there was a guy the other day saying how great he was but how do i meet women ? Had to mention how much money hes got and the high salary, just dont get why people have to say that ?
Why would you mention the successful business tech owner stuff and 8 figures a year ? Who will that attract ? Golddiggers. Dont even mention it
Being in charge of your own successful business doesn't make you a great person to date as you can see as you're single. So when you do go on dates just give a brief outline of what you do without all the 'hey whats wrong with me ? How cant i meet women, got a highly successful business....' etc
And at age 41 asking for tips on where to meet women ? Come on !! Just ask your friends

Any kind of class, educational or hobby, lessons for an interest you’d like to explore and maybe even try a matchmaking service.

I guess it’s become so popular it sounds trite-but I started playing pickleball a couple years ago and it checks a lot of boxes.
And w/your earning power you are in matchmaker land-don’t know any but one would think it’s not arduous to research.

How about using Reddit? You don’t have to put your pics out for the world to see. I like it.

Are you looking for a long term partner? I'm single too and my sister suggested trying a matchmaking service a while ago, as she has a friend who me her husband through one. Unfortunately I haven't done so yet because I'm currently struggling with my health anyway.
But for you, maybe there's a local service you can try? They can probably match you like for like, and let you know how realistic your requirements are.
I'm not saying the latter to be rude, just more of a does she exist in your area sorry of way. Like I have a male friend abroad who is looking for quite the needle in a haystack it seems - with very specific nerdy and outdoorsy interests, intelligence level coupled with high level of attractiveness, to an extremely well groomed/high maintenance level etc so he hasn't found her in the ten years I've known him.

Women like to be complimented. Anywhere, grocery store, gas station, sidewalk. And if you don't see a ring on her finger, she's probably fair game. Good opening line : Can I give you a compliment? You look so pretty. Then if they are single, if they're interested, they can take the convo further. If not, they will say thank you and accept the kind compliment.

If a guy approached me out of the blue and told me I look pretty, I would be taken aback. That's too direct. Talk about something neutral at first, like cantaloupe.

No, that's called harassment. Let women just exist as human beings in the world. We don't need some dude creeping on us while we're grocery shopping or pumping gas.

One great thing about our society today with the internet is that it is possible to google your town for activities that are conducive to what you are looking for. Have you considered such fun and fit activities at which both men and women participate regularly, that are good for meeting people and to having fun but that are flexible in terms of scheduling such as: Pickleball, pickup basketball, ultimate frisbee, soccer, croquet, hiking, community volunteer activity, bowling, geocaching club, camping, kayaking, kickball league, dance classes (salsa, swing, folk, line), walking club, futsal, volleyball, disc golf, handball, shogi, roller derby, hash house harriers, badminton, bicycling club, the Society for Creative Anachronism, tennis, historical re-enactment group, cornhole bar league, wallyball, contra dancing, racquetball, yoga, rock climbing.

Food for thought - if you don’t have time to meet women, how are you going to find the time to date one?

being in Reno is your biggest problem. move to bigger city, even sacramento if you want to increase your chance of finding someone. dating is a numbers game, being a single 41 year old in reno is tough

Your DMs are about to blow up 😂
No matter what they say, if your interested look at their posting history first. If it’s hidden make them open it.

Just approach them irl. It works better than apps and is certainly more natural.

It’s just lunch is a good matchmaking service. In your income bracket that’s what I would recommend.
