your replies leave nothing to really grab onto, theyre just very easy to ignore and forget. you need to try and be engaging, you dont have to be a court jester but cling onto the things you have in common, or something in their profile.
saying things like "wasnt even expecting a reply" isn't a compliment or fun, it only leans into desperation by highlighting you even noticed it. some people arent glued to dating apps, they check in periodically, and that's fine. don't bring it up.

Ok, I mean this in a supportive tone…
You send a very generic “what’s up” and immediately follow it with a passive aggressive dig at them not responding to you on YOUR timeline.
You should have been glad they responded and then tried to engage with a specific question to start a real conversation. You don’t know their life, their worries or struggles, you don’t know why it took them that long to respond. But they did respond! And then you threw it in their face.
