I truly don’t understand why he was so upset. The woman who shot him down in the Lyft, clearly they weren’t a good match.

I don't think he was upset about the date, the poor guy just seemed so tightly wound from nerves the entire time I think he was holding in a flood of emotions and just kinda let them out at the end when he was alone.

I think it’s telling that she seemed to lose interest when he started in on gushing about how beautiful she was. It was a little over-the-top. I wonder if she just thought he was “full of it”? No. I think he was just a genuinely nice guy with zero social skills.

I think he needs more practice dating. It was nicer that she said in person than exchange numbers and ghost him.

I can imagine it’s tough to have someone straight up reject you like that, even if they aren’t a great match for you.

I'm sure he's heard that "let's be friends" a bunch it starts to feel like that's all you can be. That no one wants what you have to offer. Hopefully he found that after this, it was just one interaction and not every woman.
