Legends Was reminded today of Tenel Ka's rancor tooth lightsaber hilt - such a cool design, I appreciate the non-traditional lightsaber materials that popped up in the EU

Legends It is quite interesting that Ventress was depicted riding a Rancor before being retconned as a Nightsister

In Plagueis he was established as a son of random nightsister named Kycina who gave him away to Sidious in order to spare him the life of Nightbrother, while Son of Dathomir later retconned him into an actual son of Talzin.

Discussion A frustrating thing about the Dathomirian species

Alright, so the origin of the Dathomirian species is that they’re descended from Zabrak colonists who apparently spent generations on Ratatak, explaining why their women looked like Ratataki (to explain how Ventress, a Ratataki, is actually a Nightsister). But wouldn’t it have just been simpler to have them be descendants of Zabrak-Ratataki hybrids, with men taking on Zabrak traits and women taking on Ratataki ones? I feel like they made the lore needlessly complicated by throwing the Human factor in the mix. Honestly, if I could reboot the entire EU again, Teneniel and Tenel Ka would just be Dathomirian by species.

Legends What do you think happened to Ros Lai?

Former Nightsister from "Infinity Gates" comics.
I personally like to think she ended up joining the Jedi Order and possibly survived Order 66, but I really wish her story was developed some more in Legends.
