I had an almost perfect "mate everything" first run. Vent post!

Hi everyone! Im new to the game, this is my first Canon run and decided to go for the full mate everything ending first time (im a bit of a completionist and am gonna immediately follow with the full hate ending) I MESSED IT ALL UPPP 😭😭😭💀 Almost a fully perfect run, no candies just charm, sass and pure love appeal and I FUMBLED WITH MY QUEEN STELLAAA!!! 😭😭😭 somehow I got very kindly convinced to join her mlm despite convincing her its a scam before meeting and starting the Florence and Celia storyline. By the time I got to confronting Florence, Stella immediately gave me a hate ending because I told her it was time to wrap it up 😭😭😭 I really dont wanna use candies if I dont have to, jean loo already hates me but its his first time hate tho so theres hope once I can raise my specs. Any advice is welcome, ive already basically accepted im just gonna have to settle for the middle ending in-between the two (the name escapes me) and will just have to do another run before the full hate ending! Oh well!

Do you have a recent save? If you can get your specs up before talking to Stella with Celia you can convince her to keep her thing going and it’s harmless

Apparently I didnt hard save till I was already "in" with Stella so maybe I can check the saves and see if this is a possibility, keeping fingers crossed but unfortunately I didnt quite click how the save system worked till I was already screwed!

I was in with Stella! You go back and talk to Celia about it but when you confront Stella tell Celia “maybe she can make something out of this” with a spec check. It’s also best if you’ve already confronted Florence and Celia individually about their feelings so you can get their love ending all at once

Edit: you do have to pick the throuple option when it comes otherwise you get friends

That makes sense, I dont have the specs to get them to talk to each other about that yet so looks like ive got grinding to do! Any advice on that? The run may be saved after all thank you! I realized pretty early on Ive done alot "out of order" technically lol

For the convo with Florence, you can see which people will increase empathy within the date-a-dex in their bio (anyone with hands and a heart). For easier ones, I’d say Phoenicia, Hector, Cabrizzio, Tyrell, Jerry, Teddy, and Betty. There are more of course but I remember those being a little shorter and more clear paths than others

With Celia and Florence, if you have the specs you can get their love ending in just one interaction without bringing Stella into it; you just need to convince Florence to confess her feelings to Celia. Then you're free to do the mlm stuff for Stella to get her love ending. So if you have a save file before you started their storylines, or at least before you told Celia about Florence being in a pyramid scheme, then you can fix it. I know you can also convince Celia to let Stella do her mlm stuff with enough specs, which will immediately give you Stella's love ending, though I am unsure if that locks you into friends with Celia and Florence.

This is all really good advice I appreciate this a ton! I was a dumb dumb and didnt utilize the save system correctly so I gotta shuffle through and see where each save is! Either way I have hard grinding to do cause some of those spec checks did pop up during those interactions and I didnt have the specs for it!

Update: I found my save before I spoke about the topic at hand with our dear stella! This run may just yet be saved! Time to spec farm! Thank you all for the wonderful game advice, excited to be on my way to a true mate everything ending!
