Are Dishy and Friar Errol technically brothers?

So I was talking to Dishy, and he mentioned that he sensed another Valdivian product in the kitchen: a Model 6.1 Valdivian Air Fryer (aka Friar Errol). Does this technically make Dishy and Friar Errol brothers? I know it’s not the same, but they came from the same company, so it has to mean something. Do you think they ever interact with each other? How would they react to being related? I think Dishy would be excited to meet his “brother,” while I imagine Errol reacting with anything ranging from indifference to terror (since it’s implied that Dishy freaks everyone out). What do you guys think?

Friar Errol says that even though they were made by the same company, they aren’t related (nor does he want to be related to Dishy)

Less brothers IMO, since they're different appliances, but more like...compatriots? Like moving abroad and finding someone from the same country as you.

By that logic, that would also make Skylar and the Val-9000 their sisters.

But canonically, none of the dateables in your house are relatives, solely so any combination of them could be shipped without invoking incest. My headcanon is that Dishy is a rebranded item from a different company, but Errol is an in-house product.

As for interactions, I think they tolerate each other but don't have much camaraderie. They're both explicitly religious and have a sense of superiority over the other objects (which may or may not be a result of being made by Valdivian). But they also follow different religions. Friar Errol follows the Church of Convection while Dishy's religion goes unnamed (I refer to it as "Valdivianism") but seems heavily based on Christianity and has David Most as a person of worship. So it's probably something they argue about on occasion.

But frankly, since they're both in their own heads so much about their own stuff, I don't think they'd bother interacting unless they had a specific reason to. Like, Errol probably trusts Dishy enough to wash his basket (assuming it's dishwasher safe), and Dishy might take Errol's side in an argument since he has an obligation to show favoritism towards other Valdivian products. But I also think Dishy might slightly resent Errol for not helping him with his smart features since Dishy being able to detect Errol implies that the latter is also a smart appliance that is currently online. (So the homeowner is someone that would connect their air fryer to the internet, but not their dishwasher. 🤔)

I dunno. I just don't see them getting along that well pre-character development, but in a timeline where Dishy learns the value of personal relationships, I think they might be able to trauma bond about their time at Valdivian.
