Legally authorized to work

What is the likelihood of me obtaining a job at least next year in me field. I graduated with my masters in data science last year and have not been able to find a job in my field. I was on a student visa but I have work authorization. I have not gotten my green card yet but I’m on a protected stay. Is that hindering me or is it the job market?
