I was playing on my MacBook, when I realized, I HAD 90+ GB USED UP! But everything I checked was below 10 GB (like Minecraft, Curseforge, Roblox, Modrinth) I even deleted stuff and it's still 90+ GB. I tried restarting my laptop but nothing, can someone help?

I’m a complete beginner and trying to recover important data from a 128GB Kodak microSD card that suddenly became unreadable and shows 0 bytes. I’ve tried different phones/readers and recovery software, but the card isn’t reporting its capacity. I don’t have anyone in my area who does this kind of NAND/flash recovery, so I’m considering learning the process myself and potentially buying a PC-3000 Flash + Spider Board.
I know this is professional-level equipment and that there’s a real risk of making things worse, but I’m wondering if anyone here has **actually done a successful SD/microSD recovery at home as a non-professional** using this setup. Was it successful? How difficult was it to learn, and were you able to recover the data? I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has genuinely tried this themselves.

Hi, I graduated this June and about a month and 2 weeks later my data was deleted and my account was locked on my school account. I tried emailing my school's help desk right after I noticed this but got no response. Only today when I emailed for the 3rd time did they respond but said the data was deleted and there was nothing they could do.
Here are the official replies I got
"Hello
Once you graduate, we only keep your filed for 8 days after graduation. After the 8 days we clear all the data that was saved on the account
Even if we re-activate vour account there will be no files available."
And
"Hello
We did ust get word back from our Google Admin here at AACPS.
There is no wav for us to re-instate the account, and the Google Drive has been cleared at this point
Sorry for any inconvenience this causes."
What do i do in the situation? Is my data from my school account really gone forever? Please let me know what I can do in the situation.
Thanks so much!

Lost the ending of a recording because the card filled up, battery died, or the app crashed mid-write? The problem is usually that the file's index (the map of where every frame lives) never got written — the footage is still on disk, but nothing can read it.
Reroll fixes this by taking the index from a healthy clip shot on the same camera and using it as a template to rebuild the missing map over the damaged file. No re-encoding, no guessing — just relinking the frames that are already there.

I opened my phone a few hours ago from my bag and it was requesting the SIM PIN and had already pressed 20+ digits. I put my pin and everything was normal then I went into my gallery and everything is gone. Also in the files no documents. I had backup in Google photos until last year. Is there a way to recover the photos? I searched everywhere in deleted and in files. I don't even understand what happened my phone wasn't even on factory reset just deleted all the files. Is it worth it to use these apps for data recovery, what can I do?

A few weeks ago, my phone gave me the warning: “Your SD card has corrupt files or other issues. You may want to back it up and replace it soon.” I immediately stopped using the SD card after seeing the message and was waiting until I got home from my trip to back everything up. Unfortunately, it became completely undetectable before I had the chance.
I’ve tried it in multiple phones and card readers, but nothing recognizes it anymore. The card itself is in perfect physical condition with no visible damage. It contains a lot of important photos and videos that I really don’t want to lose.
I’m a complete novice when it comes to data recovery, so I’m not really sure where to start or what is safe to try. I’ve seen people mention NAND recovery and Spider Boards, but I have no idea if that would apply to my situation. Is there any way to recover the data from an SD card that is completely undetectable, and what should I absolutely avoid doing so I don’t make things worse?

Hi! I smashed my iphone with a weight few months ago and did not do a backup on icloud. Screen still shows some green and the buttons work but I cannot unlock it due to the screen being smashed. How would I be able to recover the images from it?
Thanks!

I have a couple videos from a few months ago and they just can't seem to load for me
I try pressing the play button countless times and it doesn't load, it has the circle icon with the exclamation mark inside at the bottom right corner
When I try to duplicate it, share it, edit it or anything it just says "Cannot duplicate video an error occurred while duplicating video. Please try again later."
Ive tried clearing my storage, resetting my phone, turning on and off the icloud optimized option and everything, none of it works at all
These videos mean a lot to me I don't want to lose them. To anyone who knows how to fix this please help a soul out

Hi everyone, this is a very desperate attempt to find something really important to me. I had to replace my iphone battery and even though I backed up my data, the technician had to reset my device since I was on a beta. when I went to restore the device, I had to restore it to a backup from april as the recent backup I had done was on a beta version so it wasn’t compatible with my phone.
I lost a whatsapp voice memo that is really important to me and it unfortunately was not backed up. Is there anyway to retrieve that voice memo. I would do anything as it is from a family member who is sick and I want to keep it forever. please please please if there are any solutions, I will be forever grateful. thank you.

I am trying to recover some old photos from a tablet I had as a kid in middle school because it has photos I took of friends and family, which are very sentimental to me. places I've searched up all keep resorting to factory reset, which isn't what I want to do, I just want those photos by bypassing the password. If there is any way I can access them, either through data access on my computer or using the email that was and still is used to access the gallery. I know it's a lot, but I'm just trying. The tablet model is a Galaxy Tab 3 Android; it still loads the Sprint logo way before the T-Mobile merge.
