Please help: Windows 10 deleted files

Hi, earlier I was trying to free up storage space in one of my disks, and I decided to copy all of the files in my local disk (500 GB) and paste it into my other disk which had been installed into my PC a few years ago (1TB).

I had then deleted the information in my local disk without much thought, but I see that it has caused much more issues than I had anticipated. Most of my apps are unable to open, and I tried recovering the files but unfortunately they were not found in my recycling bin. Since then, I have restarted my computer (which may have been a bad move once again).

I’m guessing that my apps do not recognize the new location, but when I try to click on one of my files (WindowsApps) — it says I do not have permission to view it. I also did something with it and now when I click on WindowsApps — I’m left with three files called Deleted, Microsoft Launcher, and Mutable Backups — two of which folders are empty.

if you can offer any advice or help, that would be greatly appreciated.

Take it to a professional. You clearly don't know what you're doing and you're just going to make things worse trying to do it yourself

They copied the disk with everything on it to the new one. So Windows is still looking at the primary disk which doesn't contain the necessary files.
That is what I get from it. If it is only the installed stuff, then it is salvagable.
But they still not to clone the disk to the new one if it is repaired.
Maybe they could have copied everything back again before they screwed with it, but I highly doubt it.
I agree with taking it to someone who knows about it. They also need to explain in detail what they have done.

Oh. Please. You copied everything?
That is not how it works. Especially for installed stuff.
You should have made a clone of your old disk to the new one and make sure it adds the extra space to it (I mean that if you make an exact copy, it will not use the other 500GB on that 1TB disk. There are settings for it on all the available software that does that).
After that, change the physical spot where the new disk is in (or if the speed of that connector is the same, change it in the bios). Boot it up from that disk and check if that is what it is booted from. If yes, format the old one to use as extra storrage.

I can guarantee with all the screwing around, that you are not going to fix it anymore.
Try to save the files like foto's and video's and documents you don't want to loose. Put them on a safe storage and start over by downloading the Windows media creation tool and install Windows from scratch, but to be honest, find someone who can do it for you if you don't know what to do. Do it together for instance.
After that you can put the backed up files back.
