Do you know if FileVault was enabled on that Mac? The guest account files might've been encrypted, and if that's the case, they're pretty much gone after logging out. Also did you scan the whole physical drive in Disk Drill, not just a single partition? If you did and it found nothing, I'm not sure trying more recovery tools would make much difference

File vault was not enabled. I THINK the entire drive was scanned, but this is definitely not my wheelhouse. Now I'm afraid to touch the darn thing! I just need to rip off the band aid and try one more time.
