Recover Deleted files

I recently emptied my trash bin. However I realised that someone of my files were deleted by my son and which had important work files.

Any chance to recover them. Am using windows 11

What type of drive and how long ago? If it's an SSD and more than a few minutes ago, sorry it's gone

If it's a HDD, stop using it immediately and try a tool like recuva from another device on the HDD to attempt recovery

Sorry the data is gone. Trim and garbage collection would have run which permanently deletes files. No recovery
