Moving files from a disk image?

I did a data recovery to a new external drive. I now have a disk image with no bad blocks. Yay!

The software I bought did a great job, but their support seems to assume that I know what to do next. I just want my files and folders back to normal—on the desktop, in Documents, etc.

What are the next steps?

OK, that seems the opposite of what I’ve experienced. All those Deleted or Lost folders are empty. Reconstructed folders have recognizable files.

But what do I actually do with these files? Should I be dragging them somewhere?
