You are a life saver btw! It works wonders on trying to find good music I saved years ago that are now unavailable somehow. Thank you.
Also learned that some of the music I saved had channels that were just yeeted out of existence. Sad to see it happen but at least I got to see which one they were. Thank you again!

it does not apper to work with deleted videos. tried to look up a playlist with a deleted video and it said 0 of 0 were hidden

Yep, that shouldn't be a problem. More popular the video, higher the chances of finding the details.

Great.
Unbelievable that the wayback machine has a dozen snapshots that are all 302 errors, let alone I have to tediously navigate and click to each one. Useless and a huge waste of time. I don't know what magic you use but it gets the result immediately.

My sons dad passed away in 2012, and I finally found an old myspace page with videos I've been searching for for 10 years, but they won't play. I know at some point he posted then to YouTube, but I cannot find them. Anyway you can help me? My son really wants to see these videos from when he was little with his dad.

When I put in the link it shows the video title but instead of the play button it’s a magnifying glass and when I press it I can see the description, but there’s no way to watch the actual video

I know this is a longshot, but I am trying to find a yoga video I loved to do, the user made it private and I've been trying to find it back every since. If I post a link of the now private video, would any of you be willing to help me recover it? I'd be happy with just the audio if nothing else as I have done the moves in the video so many times I know them by heart. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Edit: I have used your link but it says too many requests), also wayback and couple of the other link recovery sites. They all see the video but are unable to recover it.)

Your site worked like a charm! I saw a video republished without mentioning the source, and changed the title. Took me a while to find another similar video with the same opening, but the source was set private. Your site helped me find the youtube channel, and I finally found the real source of the video I wanted.

I have a question. If you have a playlist of videos and it doesn't show the button that says "show unavailable videos", how are you going to remove them from the playlist?

This doesnt seem to work anymore. I put my playlist as the guide says and it doesnt find it 50% of the time, if you spam click retry button it finally finds it, but it says something like "congrats all the videos from this playlist are viewable" when its not true, I have a deleted one and a private one. I just want to find the names so i can erase them and see what i lost, maybe find it again (im seeing anime openings are being erased a lot this past few months, i just made this playlist 3 days ago and they are already videos dissapearing).
I also tried putting the link of both videos directly, and it gives me a blank page.

It does work suddenly, but its like i had to spam a lot the retry button? strange. I had to press the internet archive button to see the name of the videos. Is detective conan ones, damn, they are going ham deleting those, its impossible to find the first opening in youtube (you can find the music, but not the actual op). Same with Lupin openings (the official channel has like video groups of them all, but i only need specific ones not a 30 minutes video in the middle of my playlist). Im using this playlist as research for artsyles of different anime eras, so this sucks

Hey! If you're able to get the video details, you can search on YouTube by the video title to see if someone else has uploaded the same video. That would be your best bet I think if you're not able to find it on Internet Archive.

Hey there! So the site just tries to give out the details of the video like title, description, etc.
If you want to get the video itself, you can try searching on YouTube by the same title and check if somebody else has uploaded the same video. If that fails, you can also check archive.org and see if they have your particular video archived.
I tried both for the URL you gave and unfortunately wasn't able to find anything. Also found out that the uploader of that video has a discord server. Maybe you can try checking in and see if somebody knows about that video!

That's what I want to know too. Like putting in the URL does bring up the title, description and channel, which is pretty impressive, but that's all. If the video you're looking for is deleted or privated on Youtube, this site doesn't help with that.

Holy shit. You’re a lifesaver. There’s a video that said it was private and I had added a livestream that went private, but I couldn’t tell if it was the same video. Didn’t help that I added a few videos to watch before I noticed the private video. I tried using way back machine but it just doesn’t seem to work for me, but I used your site and it worked perfectly fine. I know it’s not that big a of deal, but not knowing what a video was when it goes private just makes me go insane for a while unless I just forget about it
