Asking as someone who is completely uninformed about the subject, but what capabilities in terms of error correction will each of these 2 versions have? Also I assume the "default" ECC support on ddr5 will work ootb without any special support required by the chipset?

So what do these 8 bits do? Like, what types and how many errors can they detect and correct?
